It's really amazing to have bought the horse at one year old and still own him at 21 years. Safe to say he will stay with you forever. You have taken very good care of him as he is clean legged and looks fabulous for a horse at his age. And you can still ride him at times. There is another channel I watch called "Free Spirit Equestrian" and the woman on that channel owns an Appaloosa gelding who is 21 years of age but she bought him when he was 5 years old and she still does Endurance riding with him and she rides him quite regularly and she also teaches students who rides her horses as well. She even has a 26 year old Amish mare that she picked up at Auction and she looks fabulous as well. Just good care and responsible ownership.
Lianne always made me smile because she was so sweet and snuggly. I can't believe she's old enough now to have a baby of her own along with the other fillies she grew up with. It makes me think fondly of Myrthe and how she would have been right along side her 'sister's' living the good life!
I love that your physiotherapist is also a horse rider. It means she has a great idea of what sort of body work you need to be able to ride. I hope your recovery is going well. Stal G is going to need a lot of names this year!

I know Uniek can't have anymore foals due to health and age related issues but I am glad to see her be lead mare and aunt to all the babies that come (even if she is in another field to the mamas and foals). She did an amazing job raising Rising Star. Its also good to see that you are slowly getting back into the swing of things. Maybe a good idea to give us their rough due dates so we can keep an eye out roughly when these foals will drop and probably less likely to annoy you with 20 million "are the foals here yet?". Its so good to see that you are still on the road to recovery. Don't be too upset if you get frustrated with how slow the recovery is. It all takes time

I looked up the names of my Dutch ancestors who were among the first immigrants who settled in New Amsterdam (now New York City). Their descendants settled much of the bottom half of New York State, USA. The names that meet your rules are: Zamuel, Zacharias, Weyntje/Wyntje, Warnaar, Wybrant, Willem/Willhelm/Willemse, and Wijnaut/Wynaut. Those are some tough letters to find names under!
So nice to meet Kim. I just love Sjors because he's protective, cheeky, and the boss, right Elianne? Lol! Just teasing! He can be sweet and so chill. For Frisian names, I have to crack open the Betty Neels novels which mostly feature young British women nurses and rich Dutch doctors. Here are Betty's Dutch heroes for the colts, not sure if Frisian: Yvo, Waldo, and Walle. The Dutch "other women" don't start with W,X,Y,Z, unfortunately. But I agree with some commenters here that we should have "Yvonne" or some variation, even we already had a horse Yvonne.

I am pretty new here and have to find your video explaining what happened to you. You look so much different. I lost friends because I looked so different after being in a coma 2 1/2 weeks. Everyone had to whisper in my room for a month after that. You are doing well, and it is because you have so much love around you. Get the rest you need to help your brain heal.

For Frisian names, I think Yvo, Wout and Wilko are fun! It seems hard to find very many that start with W, X, Y, Z. Other names that are not specifically Frisian, but are still very nice: Zelda, Yvette, Willemina, Wim, Valentijn, Zeger.

Oh, I just had to google Friesian and Dutch names. I came up with 5 males and 9 females. I have put them in order of preference twice already, and keep changing the order. But here they are because I could spend all day changing the order. I looked up the names of my Dutch ancestors who were among the first immigrants who settled in New Amsterdam (now New York City). Their descendants settled much of the bottom half of New York State, USA. The names that meet your rules are: Zamuel, Zacharias, Weyntje/Wyntje, Warnaar, Wybrant, Willem/Willhelm/Willemse, and Wijnaut/Wynaut. Those are some tough letters to find names under!
So nice to meet Kim. I just love Sjors because he's protective, cheeky, and the boss, right Elianne? Lol! Just teasing! He can be sweet and so chill. For Frisian names, I have to crack open the Betty Neels novels which mostly feature young British women nurses and rich Dutch doctors. Here are Betty's Dutch heroes for the colts, not sure if Frisian: Yvo, Waldo, and Walle. The Dutch "other women" don't start with W,X,Y,Z, unfortunately. But I agree with some commenters here that we should have "Yvonne" or some variation, even we already had a horse Yvonne.

Just took a look at my (east) frisian ancestors: Most common names with W-Z were: Wilke, Walrich, Weyert, Wessel, Wilm, Wiltet - male, Wübke, Wimke - female. I also found some Zippe (female), but I don't recomment that one.🤭

For Frisian names, I think Yvo, Wout and Wilko are fun! It seems hard to find very many that start with W, X, Y, Z. Other names that are not specifically Frisian, but are still very nice: Zelda, Yvette, Willemina, Wim, Valentijn, Zeger.
How exciting! I looked through my Bosma and Fopma family genealogy and did not find names starting with these letters. Always fun to think Stal G is 20 minutes from my Friesian family roots! All good wishes for healthy foals and mares, looking forward to seeing the names!

I love Zanna, but that is Dutch. If you wanted an American name, I would choose Zenyatta, after the great thoroughbred mare. Ulfert for a colt, or, I LOVE Wilko for a colt, Ywen for a colt, also Uniko. The filly names, other than the first two I listed are harder for me. Lol. 😊 I’m so glad to see how much better you are doing Yvonne! You continue to be in my prayers.

I always wonder if Uniek might have a rash of some sort on that ankle….probably because I’m a health care worker, lol. Apple cider vinegar would cure a fungal infection, an oatmeal bath would heal a dermatitis, itchy area. Eczema would need moisture and steroid cream ❤️🤗. I just need to diagnose, I can’t help it 🤣

I like lots of the names mentioned but I feel sure there must be a Ziffora in thanks to Risey’s mum for giving him to us…and by us I mean you, Yvonne 😄. I do like Zoe for a filly and Wynter which means winter, of course, for a colt. Zenith is also good for a colt. It means the highest point or the best, which all of these foals will be. Oh, I just had to google Friesian and Dutch names. I came up with 5 males and 9 females. I have put them in order of preference twice already, and keep changing the order. But here they are because I could spend all day changing the order.
Male names: Watse, Ziggy, Zoran, Ysbert, and Xaver
Female names: Wiebke, Zjenja, Ypke, Yvette, Zenobia, Zulma, Zwaan, Xaviera, and Yasmina.
If you didn't have so many beautiful damen pregnant, I would have listed fewer names!
