Rising Star's eyes expresses more than words could. He looks so innocent and behaves calmly around elders, yet is very authoritative at horses his own age.
His mane at different angle is shining, he is going to be a very beautiful stallion.

My goats would have eaten the comments and left the paper. They once ate about a third of a book that the UPS driver had put over my fence--it was in a cardboard wrapper, which they tore to shreds. Worse yet--the book was delivered to the wrong address! Yikes!

Congratulations to all the winners, especially those who have lost their loved ones. Watching the continuing story of Risey always makes my day special and uplifting. Also not to forget the rest of the herd, Johnny, Sjors, Waloubet, Pieter, Rinso Janko, etc etc, all of them are so special to me. Even at work, I show the videos to some of my coworkers. Some of them, like me, tear up at how sweet it was that Uniek adopted Risey and we feel like God Parents to them. If we don't hear about Risey for a few days, we worry. He is our little Prince! Thanks for showing Risey with his friends at end of the video. He seems like he has gone through the weaning process very well. I identify with Uniek in a way. I breastfed my two daughters and when the pediatrician said it's time to start the weaning process, it wasn't easy in the beginning, but with his guidance we did it. They are fine grown women now, but I will never forget the bond. Uniek was an excellent mommy. 🥰
All the horses looked like they were all up to mischief. Unique was able to pick through all the entries and find the pellets. Made me laugh, then when u went to Risey, he was really interested in the pics of you, his mom and himself. Then the horse next to him wanted to get into the video. What a bunch of different personalities. Makes for an interesting day I bet!! Love to all, and I wish I would have known about the raffle.

Congratulations to all winners, and applause for everyone who entered. Now, what I'd love to see in 2022 for 2023 is a totally Stal G calendar. Your burgeoning subscriber list guarantees a HUGE response. After costs, the proceeds could go to any charity of Yvonne's and Rein's choosing. Personally, I'd love to see support for rescue horses.

Because I seldom have the chance to be at a stable somewhere I had forgotten the great odor inside a horse stable.
I assume there is the same great odor inside the stable of Goëngamieden.

just a little comment as you tube has changed the comment section and it’s difficult to add a an after thought , i was wondering what you had planned for Rising star now hes is growing into a fine young man ! and Uneik will soon have her foal , will she ignore rising star after her giving birth ,as i know how protective she was with rising star , being a novice and knowing nothing about horses , i just was concerned about how it happens in the horse world !

Has Rising Star fully shed his foal coat? It looks like there are darker spots on his face, he is probably going to favor his sire (Cachet L) a lot more than I thought.
