Great detailed review. kBO website makes assembly seem simpler but the many small parts have to be assembled by the buyer. A pity, and hopefully the other mfrs (e.g. Aventon, Rad, Hovsco) do not burden buyers with this additional task.
One suggestion for those videos: it would help if you could get some nice closeups for some assembly parts especially around insertion of front wheel into front fork which require a lot of tiny hard-to-see parts being inserted/threaded
And people wonder how could a start up like Lectric eBikes sell over 150,000 eBikes in 2 years...?..NEWS flash...their bikes come 99% assembled (just need to put on the handle bar). That install made me want to throw a wrench at my dog. NOT impressed at all.
If your coming from a bike that is 99% complete and comparing that to a 90% complete bike I can see your point. I wouldn’t knock the Lectric, but it is a small foldable bike and NOT a direct comparison. I have assembled a number of full size bikes and this bike is comparable and in some cases easier to assemble than other full size bikes. I could have fully assembled and adjusted this bike in less than an hour if I wasn’t filming and explaining as I went. I take extra time to explain things for those that don’t have as much experience. Most people would be able to assemble and adjust a couple hours with absolutely no experience. At the end of the day it just depends on what kind of bike you are looking for. Small and foldable or full size. For a full size bike this wasn’t bad at all. Enjoy your bike!
Excellent and very comprehensive video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome video! I wish this was in the link that was sent with the bike. It would have been helpful.
Thank you!
Thanks!
No problem!
I appreciate the support!
Very helpful after buying a gently used bike (10 miles).
I am glad it was helpful! Make sure to check out the other KBO videos I have done!

I can’t argue the point. As I recall this was the one bike that did that.
Just order one . The breeze have you ever installed bar mirrors
No, just the bar end mirrors. But I would think it would be fairly straight forward.
What is a detainer?
No idea. Is it something I referenced?
Maybe a derailleur?
