The general would be more like Bronya in comparison as he has the complete military under him but not any other legal powers. Each ship has their own general and their all under the Marshall Yukong is a playable 4* - you can get her for free for reaching a specific lv on a game content similar to the Abyss in Genshin ^^ You get a free Herta for finishing SU World 2,4,6 and 8 - so you can E5/6 pretty easy without pulls

So I hope you get her to like her during the story. The Foxians do live a long life but it’s around 300-400 years where the native of the Xianzshou like Fu Xuan or Jing Yuan truly are immortal
We are scarred from Jarilo-VI so now we don't trust nobody 😮💨 I am very curious about Fu Xuan tho and interested to learn more about her and see how things play out!
You're right that Yanqing sounds familiar to you because of Genshin, but it's not Venti, it's Dehya. Amber May is the VA for both. There's a lot of VAs in common across both games. Acheron = Beidou Jing Yuan = Cyno Yanqing = Dehya Sushang = Dori Hanya = Eula Caelus (the male MC) = Gaming Blade = Lyney (this is everyone's favorite because of the RANGE) Hook/Asta = Mona Arlan = Nilou Natasha = Rosaria Lynx = Kokomi Sparkle = Yanfei Xueyi = Yoimiya Pela = Changsheng (Baizhu's snake) There's also 2 NPCs who are seemingly important upcoming characters (they're in one of the Myriad Celestia trailers), Dubra (Keqing) and Constance (Ganyu). And the latest event in the new planet features an NPC with Xiao's VA.

Oh WOW was not expecting Dehya since the voice sounds so different! :0 Pretty neat that some of the Genshin voices are in HSR!
