1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, puree
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup water (200 ml or as needed for gravy)
Coriander leaves for garnish
Masala Paste (blend with water) -
8 to 10 cloves garlic
1-inch ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp peppercorns
2 tsps red chilli powder or 6 kashmiri chillies
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
