Be on the look out for lenovo website sales at the usual times. I've been using a Huawei matepad 10.4 for 3 years and it's still really reliable. It's great to be finished with Windows computers, 25 years of hell. 3 years now, no freezes, shut downs, break downs, glitches. These android tablets are so reliable.
you mentioned you use it for sheet music....i wanted to do the same...can you take that sheet music and make notes on it with the pen and then save that page...is the software it comes with good enough for that...thanks

I had a Duet 3 that would have been an amazing device if Lenovo had taken the time to fix an extreme battery drain that killed the device in less than a day just in standby mode. I ended up selling it after a year of the device being on the market with no fix in sight. Customer service was a joke of an experience. Don't count on their shipping estimates either. I was supposed to get 2 day business shipping (confirmed with customer service before order) and it took me 6 weeks to receive my device

@@Don-V- Literally not a single problem whatsoever, other than maybe battery life, but it's an OLED screen and I always have the brightness cranked up to 100, so that's to be expected. Definitely not the fastest tablet out there, but if you're mainly going to consume media on it, I don't think there's a better bargain.
@@WavyVaporizers I would say no. It's not the most powerful in terms of hardware. For quality media consumption, it's top notch in terms of value. Definitely an accompanying screen to a good gaming laptop, like the ASUS Zephyrus G14, for example.

You know what's even unusual? The exact same model in the Chinese market has got a Snapdragon 870 chip and a 144Hz panel! And it's priced even lower than both the US and EU market variants.
@@dami007 Well electronics are always dirt cheap in China so it is no surprise and all companies always prioritize China, even Apple has China-specific features not found in iPhones in the rest of the world, as their consumer market is massive and everything is manufactured in there.

Now I have P12 full kit and I actually like it. Display is actually good even it's 60Hz. I played same stuff along with P11 Pro G2 and I hardly tell the difference. Speakers are excellent with rich and loud sound. For those wonder how is streaming, I can say it's really good from streaming to cable TV content. The keyboard is actually good and it's recommended to buy full kit and use it like netbook. However, touchpad don't have palm check and it makes some wrong action. Now it's $320 full kit in US and go ahead if you'd like to buy it. I am satisfied with my purchase. BTW, Moto Tab G84 is actually same hardware
I bought the tablet and discovered that with certain wallpapers the image flickers on the dark areas of the Image. This also happens in certain menus with dark mode enabled. It's very strange, it seems like a software problem, because if I take a screenshot of the screen, in gallery, the picture is stable. I mention that the adaptive brightness mode is disabled. I had the tablet replaced and received another one exactly the same. Have you noticed this on your tablet?
@@100xcientoapple the battery is ok, lasts few hours of light gaming or watching movies. Before this one I had many iPads and I can say that the battery is around 80% of an iPad's battery.
Do you also have a problem with the Play Protect certificate? The tablet does not have such a certificate and therefore cannot install many applications, such as Netflix or Disney plus.

How is the battery on the 14rhz LCD with sd870? This channel reviewed the 12.7 60hz model and only got 5.5 hours of battery (as opposed to 10 hours on the P11 Gen 2). I wanted to order the 12.7 but if the battery life is half the time because of the lcd , that's not very nice.

I believe the P12 can be ideal tablet to replace my current one, I mainly take notes in meetings, visualize Google sheets, do video calls, review and reply emails and watch media in my long train trips. Just have a question for you: while you were reviewing the P12, did you feel any overheating issues? Mycurrent tablet (5 yo) really starts frying itself while on confcalls. At this point, it's obvious that you've consciously chosen not to review the Lenovo Legion Y700, which is pretty much the best 8 inch Android tablet ever made, and by a wide margin. You know how good it is and why. So, why have you chosen not to review it? It's been out for about a year now, after all. I just cannot accept the idea that you would not be aware of it (especially since I've asked you about it previously in these comments).
I will review the successor. This one I didn't review because it was never released outside of China. But since I get tons of comments and emails about it, it was clearly a mistake not to review it. So, I'll buy the successor as soon as it's released.

Just bought the P11 Gen 2 (6/128gb w/ Android 12L) and it's so much better than the P11 Gen 1 that's now stuck on Android 11. So far I honestly prefer the Android 12L version of Lenovo tablets since they got rid of the separate Productivity Mode on newer tablets with Android 13. The newer ones look like they're copying the iPad's multitasking & floating windows implementation.
I just brought it a couple of weeks ago, I have no complaints, good for gaming, plenty of storage, nice colours, fast WiFi, fast loading, nice quality feel. Definitely recommend, good for taking notes.
Trying to decide between the P11 Gen 2 and the Pad Pro 12.7 2023 (lcd 144hz). The P11 Gen 2 has OLED, but the Pad Pro 12.7 has metal body, more storage , more ram... But I'm worried about 400 nots LCD , and about battery life on LCD.
@@MorkusReX do you mean the P11 PRO Gen 2? that one has an 11.2" 120hz AMOLED screen while the non-Pro P11 Gen 2 has an 11.5" 120hz IPS LCD screen with lower pixel density. you might also consider checking the P12 Pro from 1-2 yrs ago, it's now discounted and it has a 12.6" 120hz AMOLED screen with metal body, better specs, and it's currently on Android 12L.
I never got my pen for the P11 plus but I use an aftermarket pen. I have the keyboard cover and I'm greatly impressed by my tablet. I can only imagine the newer ones are better. I even gave my Galaxy Tab A to my girlfriend. One day I'll be able to afford a pro. Thanks for this review.
Great review and great channel ! I was in the market for a tablet and ended up buying the chinese variant of this one. It's interesting because it's actually cheaper, and has a better 144 hz screen and better snapdragon chip (if you're not too afraid to import, which is a first for me, still waiting for delivery)

Bought mine through giztop and they did just that, and I 100% agree with what's being said in this review, but mine has higher refresh rate and was cheaper (although it doesn't come with the stylus included, which is fine for me) couldn't be happier with it, the Chinese name for it is "lenovo xiaoxin pad pro 12.7"

You cannot plug any of the two into an external monitor. Besides that, the S9 FE+ is the better of the two

Which 8-9 inch tab should I get
Nokia T10 / Lenovo M9 3gb ram / 32gb - 120$
T10 4/64 - 130$
Samsung a7 lite 3/32 - 140$
Realme pad mini 4/64 - 141$
Lenovo M9 4/64 - 150$
M8 and M7 are just 90-100$
I just need a tab to run a couple web pages that run patient info in my hospital
I’m shying away from M8 since it’s kinda old since the 3rd gen is still not officially available here and the gen 2 is stuck on android 10 ( comes with android 9 )
M7 comes with android 11 go ( no upgrades )
M9 comes with android 12 and goes to 13
Nokia t10 comes with android 11 , upgrade to 12 and planned upgrade to 13
Realme pad mini is stuck on android 11
Will 3gb ram be enough ( I find 32gb storage to be high for my use case since I won’t be storing anything )
Also the prices I’ve listed are for LTE versions and I prefer the convenience of Charging just a few devices instead of charging the tab + iPhone + hotspot for the tab + iPad ( on days I need that )
I would get the M9. It's the fastest and since these are entry-level devices, I think speed is more important in the long-run than software.
With all these tablet reviews, a giveaway isn't bad
