That was a easy 4/4. Zerglings love to bunch up into the open space that is created via Odin's barrage ability, forcing themselves to just suicide like crazy. 60 marines can just stomps on 20 hydra's, 5 little GA's wasn't going to be anywhere near enough. Thors are Ranged AND they are great at killing Ultra. Even tho this was a super close one. @@Thejeanio might have something to do with blink cancelling the attack whilst its in the air, but there are a 2 other things to note Stalkers have terrible DPS Tanks DPS when unseiged is pretty great, way better then when seiged. Those things combined meant the unseiged tanks just roll over stalkers in a 1v1, and stalkers couldn't make good use of the survivability blink gives them due to not having greater range than the tanks, so the backline was just derping rather than shooting.
@@Santisima_Trinidad Pretty much, but while unsieged tanks have greater dps than sieged tanks, they also don't do splash damage and if you calculate it out, the splash makes up for the slower fire rate. The first one I expected the Odin to win, it has aoe ability but it’s base attack also deals aoe unlike the regular thor. I did think it would be closer though. The last battle I was hoping that stalker blind micro would win but I underestimated the single target damage UN siege tanks can do
Pretty sure regualr thors do deal splash damage, it's just a pretty small radius, and only like a 1/4 of the single target damage anyway. Odin AoE is much much better, almost seige tank levels.
Even if zerglings had better spread against the odin going in he was firing his ability at his feet. They would all meet up there anyway trying to attack him.
The odin/thors ability to attack at a distance, and do area damage, really does clean up any melee units before they can get a bite in. With the Zerglings especially, there's a limit to how many can directly attack the odin at once. So every Zergling that isn't in attack range is essentially useless. If they could stack on top of each other/share space, the Odin might have gone down. Might also have been able to take it down with clever control of the Zerglings. Sending small waves to take a hit, followed by a huge wave to get by before the odin can fire the big gun again
You should do one with the Odin without the barrage ability! It’s borking to see him just kill everything with no contest, I think it would be cool to see just the splash damage from the auto attack
