    Very important: 8:09 & 9:00
    Do not remove 10mm bolts, it’s for the fender not for the bumper.
    Like for every one see this comment.
    Nice video and informative for Camaro men and men.

      I guess I didn’t realize that when removing the front bumper. Thank you! I am always learning. I will pin this comment.

    Nice video. I’ve had my front bumper off my car a few times now. Taking the front wheels off, makes life a lot easier. It doesn’t take much time to take them off. Better off than squeezing behind them to get the inner bolts off.

    Thanks for the video. I’m having trouble getting the lip to snap into the grille. There is a gap!

      You have to push, really, really hard and make sure everything is lined up exactly where it needs to be. Having a second person for this part helps.

    If I want to install the 1le splitter only do I have to take off the whole front bumper?

    • @FollowMyLine17
      @FollowMyLine17  10 месяцев назад

      In order to the cut the slots needed, it would be a whole lot easier if you did. You could try it with the bumper on, but I don’t recommend it. You would be working in very tight spaces.

    The part number you provided for the front splitter is not a good part number if you replace the last 4 with a 3 you get a good part number for the splitter. Hopefully im right. Wildhammer doesnt have this kit available so im piecing it together part by part. I do appreciate the list of individual part numbers and quantities though

    Just finished my install except for the sides of the splitter, can i cut the slit from the outside? I also didn't realize I have to order 2 locking clips for just the sides of the splitter

      The template to cut the front bumper is marked on the inside of the bumper. You might be able to see it from underneath the car. You could drill 4 small holes at the corners and then cut from the outside.

    just finished doing mine, what did you do with the under part where it’s alcantera and a bunch of bolts need to be put on but they don’t match the holes?

    • @FollowMyLine17
      @FollowMyLine17  8 месяцев назад

      You’ll have to be a bit more specific. All of the bolts should match up if you used OEM parts. We didn’t have any issues with bolts not lining up or having extras.

    Where did you buy the bumper from because I need one?

    • @FollowMyLine17
      @FollowMyLine17  3 месяца назад

      I’m not sure if you watched the entire video, but that isn’t a different bumper, it’s the OEM bumper that was on the car already. The aero kit was purchased from Wildhammer, and there are links for that in the description.

    I have zl1 1le. I’m wondering how hard to just remove front splitter

    • @FollowMyLine17
      @FollowMyLine17  6 месяцев назад

      Not hard at all, just watch the install portion and do it in reverse 😁

      Usually it’s a mix of different websites, and great friends within GM.

    Will this work on a 2ss

    • @FollowMyLine17
      @FollowMyLine17  10 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately, no. The ZL1 bumper, fenders and hood are wider than the SS. You would have to buy all of those before you bought this kit to do the conversion. There are some aftermarket companies that make a ZL1 1LE conversion for the SS.

    Great Video!!!! I’m going to pin your video to my ZLE front crash bar videos so I don’t have to make one to explain how to remove everything! I subscribed and cannot wait to see your other content!
