They may not win any competition now, but certainly if any social dance pair can dance like this, it's plenty good enough. For comparison, do a search on youtube for Timothy Howson Joanne Boltan dancing slow waltz to Mandulinata.
The music is "O Mio Babbino Caro" from Giacomo Puccini's opera Gianni Scicchi (or something like that). And yes, the English (or slow) waltz is a very different dance from slow foxtrot.
Hi Rita and Brad, try the english waltz by the singer Volker Katzmarczyk, it is the song Granada written by Agustin Lara and Lyrics in German by Ralph Maria Siegel. It fits to your dancing style.
@teddykan1 that's probably of the youtube, becuse sometimes it playes a music with some lag.You can see that good in car accelerations, when guy shits on the video it's stil on 7000 rpm then like 0,5 sec it fell down to 3500 or something
they obviously know what they are doing, and they are obviously off beat. SO obviously, the sync between video and sound is messed up as usual on youtube
@desolate2 That's the whole idea of an english waltz.. .you don't look each other in the eyes. If you want to look in each others eyes you should dance a rumba
0:14 & 1:33 the way she's lopping her head to the side every 2 secs & hanging like a sack of potatoes looks dumb. They have absolutely no chemistry. She's all stiff & wont even look in his direction. It looks like he's trying to support a car accident victim to a gurney 1:41

Sorry, I find them off timing! I prefer to see a couple slightly behind the music. Also, beat "1" needs to last just that tiny bit longer!
