    I love the looks of the new T series. Best one yet a real silver Gleaner again. Congratulations on a great job on the appearance. Best wishes!

      We have an F for corn, and an F for beans, a K for corn, a K for beans, and an E with a grain header

    20 years ago I sketched up a new design machine. Bigger shields the same as the right side to include the batteries. No stupid mesh. Flared out bin extensions, wider and heavier ladder, tap on the hyd filter and tank. Turret auger as current auger was never high enough and restricted left side access. Much Bigger folding doors on right to allow access to chopper belt and the main engine pulley. STRONGER panels, potentially plastic. Slightly longer feeder house. Vario transmission for up to 40km/h unlimited ranges on 2 speed but 20km/hr work speed. Sorry to sound like a smart Alec, but it’s true.

    Sorry folks. We had to upload the video again due to a sound issue.

    How does the ladder open with a dead battery

    • @michaelmueller2778
      @michaelmueller2778 11 дней назад

      well if the battery is dead your not going to do any harvesting anyways,so first priority is get the charger or put in a new battery

    Paint the headers orange!!!! As a mechanic, all that dark. Grey. Shit is a nightmare to see anything your working on.

    I love the gleaner but it’s the same old pig with lipstick on it. A few mechanical upgrades. You’re falling behind on size class 7 and 8 should be looking for 8-9-10 class! I haven’t seen any specs on it yet compared with the S series?

    • @GMC_K15

      @@wcooman1694 R to S series was a size improvement along many other upgrades. Why not upgrade size and more than just a few mechanical things after over 10 years?

      @@GMC_K15 I'm thinking there's probably limitations to the transverse rotor. Can't really go bigger without making it wider & taller. Additional HP wouldn't gain much.

    • @GMC_K15
      @GMC_K15 3 месяца назад +3

      @@wcooman1694 Most likely the case but after over 10 years I would expect more. Most other class 8 machines are a decent chunk bigger and it would be nice to be comparable with the transverse rotor. Larger diameter rotor is possible, is a wider feederhouse an option? Does the rotor have enough surface area to be fed through the center and have the straw go through both sides of the combine? Could use a conventional 6 cylinder engine with larger displacement to boost horsepower if needed and move the engine further back for more space. Yes this adds weight but would boost capacity a lot if its possible
