6:52 I have been to Kerala ( South of India )where there are elephant rides like these but then we went to see where and how they were kept, it was awesome, there were so many guys taking care of them, and they had the whole forest to eat. You may think that they are abused by looking at them but maybe they arent abused. Elephants have been domesticated in India for thousands of years just like dogs. They are also considered holy in the Hindu culture. A human sitting on the elephant is so light weight to them that they wont even feel much.
It’s great to hear that the elephants were kept in a great condition, however, we were actually aiming our comments at the tourist for riding them. No animals should be used for profit. 🙏🙏
@@duosdream ok but then the kings guards or whatever they are called in the uk still use horses, i have also seen some cops using horses in the usa but nobody cares. Elephants are migrating animals and they need to walk huge sums of distances for a healthy life, and these elephants are not fit for survival in the wild, i think its not that bad, they wont even feel the person on them, its just like walking. Anyways have a grat time in India, if you could please do visit my city of Pune which was the historic capital of the Maratha empire, it is cleaner and one of the biggest and the fastest growing city in India. ❤️

How can you missed Udaipur? Venice of the East, best city in Asia and 2nd in the world. If you didn't went to Udaipur then your India trip was incomplete
Udaipur udaipur hai kisi dusri city k upar uska naam kyo rakh rahe ho bhaii🤬 vo agar compare krny lage to fir log royege slums cow khachra dikha rahe haaii..?
Jaipur, Udaipur are highly overrated cities, there are 1000s of other forts in India which are more beautiful then Jaipur forts. Only fort I liked in whole of Rajasthan is Chittorgarh.
Should they charge 300-500 rupees to allow you to take a pic at that stepwell? One thing I will say is that the well is cleaner, so maybe it helps with the esthetics, but if they charge, then they can have maintenance upkeep.
The elephants used for these guided tours are actually very well taken care of. They are fed, washed, and care for with a lot of love. Every single elephant rider here takes the responsibility to keeping the well-being of their individual elephants very seriously. I can say this because this city has been my home for over 30 years and I've spent enough time and energy with several organisations and the government of Rajasthan to ensure these elephants aren't exploited. Having said that, ALL ANIMALS should be in the WILD and FREE. I don't like them being used for these little tours at all. But please don't spread false information about how they are treated here. Give it as a disclaimer that it is your personal opinion, not as a fact. Lastly, quiet a few things stated by you guys in the video isn't true/factual. I believe that is your acquired knowledge from locals who aren't well versed in english and would rather just agree with you than struggle to explain the history and culture. Eg: That wasn't Goddess Shiva. You should read up on Shiva if the culture does interest you. And you will be left mind-blown about all the deities, including Shiv and Kali, that a majority of Indians worship. PS & Most importantly: Thank you for capturing the beauty of the amazing Pink City :)
Hey! Thanks so much for confirming that, we’re happy to hear it. We didn’t think that they were treated bad actually, we just don’t agree with tourists riding them. The comments were more directed to the tourists than the locals - they should know better and have the education behind them to not support it. We stayed with a family in Jaipur for many days who explained the culture in detail to us and we learnt a lot. This video was filmed on our first day of arrival in Jaipur haha! Anyway, thank you for watching from the beautiful Jaipur! ❤️
Same deal with horseback riding, and camel riding, same deal. Elephants can hold a lot more (like more than double the amount of a horse can by weight).
They can but the process to do that is to change the structure of their skeleton in a process called crushing. We always used to think the same until we visited an elephant sanctuary and they taught us about it ☹️
your perception about process of handeling those elephant are wrong because in india elephants are handeled very differently. they do live with the driver of those elephants called Mahawat like a family member in their home. those elephants are like son and daughter to them.
Go the the Elephant sanctuary in jaipur you will see that in India use of Elephants are heavily monitored by the India government. They definitely aren’t mistreated🙏

The elephant guys, the small vendors all are trying to make a living in a hard competetive land with rampant poverty. They could have quoted a correct price for the object to start with.

6:04 Animas are being used for human purposes since ages in India,in history there used used to be war elephants which used to wreck havoc over enemies, even in temples they are used for various rituals ,and all these purposes gave rise to a whole community in various part of India called mahouts who were basically associated with Elephant,,I appreciate ur concern regarding selfish use of animals by human and the pain they had to bear for this but the real world is very harsh u know we daily drink milk of cows for which they are constantly subjected to pregnancy nd upon that people also kill them and eat them,,,,,u see majority of the people in the world are hypocrats they claim to love animals be it dog or cat or horses and the next moment they eat chicken, cow, pigs, goats, fishes etc, etc,I think pain shouldn't be discriminated based on ur favourite animals isn't it,
@@duosdream what about those poor animals whom you people eat.. hypocrite westerners 😂 crying about elephant use of commercialisation..why do you people commercialize wild animals put in prison in zoos? at least these animals are free and have enough food..#stopeatinganimals😢
just like we have domesticated dogs...these are domesticated elephants... the take care of them and feed them like their children...just like how ppl take care of their dogs or cats. If domesticating elephants is bad then having any other animals is just as bad.
Dogs and cats aren’t wild animals, that’s the difference here. We also wouldn’t condone owning a tiger, leopard, sloth etc as a pet … similarly, if we had a dog, we wouldn’t enter it for pet competitions or breed it to make money for ourselves. Anyway, thanks for watching! 😊

We always used to think the same until we visited an elephant sanctuary and they taught us about it ☹️
love u from Jaipur 😊😊
❤️
Luv the indian hat sam😊 really suits you😊
He does suit a good hat! 😅
Did you use an e sim whilst in India or buy a sim when you were there? If so; what do you recommend :)
Sent you a DM lovely ❤️
7:47 Sorry for the stupid street vendors.
Thanks for coming to our city, our country.
It’s okay!!! Thank you so much for watching and welcoming us to your city 😄
u can go south india or goa for beaches and russian or kashmir
Next time we will explore more of India 🇮🇳
your perception about process of handeling those elephant are wrong because in india elephants are handeled very differently. they do live with the driver of those elephants called Mahawat like a family member in their home. those elephants are like son and daughter to them.
Thank you for explaining your opinion 😊
Go the the Elephant sanctuary in jaipur you will see that in India use of Elephants are heavily monitored by the India government. They definitely aren’t mistreated🙏
Good coverage
Thanks for watching 🥰
Oh Im early.. Love yall from Srilanka ❤❤❤❤
So happy to have our Sri Lankan audience! Thank you so much for watching 🤩❤️❤️❤️

He is poor man trying to make a living and trying to feed his family.
@@highcalibrehuman5571 "being poor and feeding the family" doesn't give you license to heckle and harass the foreign tourists.
@@manishsinghrajput2815 you have clearly not travelled anywhere in the world. Try Paris and Barcelona once you'll know what heckling and haggling is.
@@highcalibrehuman5571Exactly, that's my point brother. You are right I have not visited Paris and Barcelona and I don't doubt you are haressed there. Here you are complaining about Paris and Barcelona and that's what I don't want to hear about jaipur or for any place in my beloved country from any foreign tourists.
Indian government should ban horn of vehicles in tourist places 🥴
Hahahahaahah everywhere!!! 😂
After lecturing us on treatment of animals they will go and enjoy mutton , chicken and beef 😂
Tidak bagus ✨
No one is lecturing us brother, she just made a valid point if you boast about being vegetarian then you must also think about animal abuse.
@@manishsinghrajput2815 thank you my friend, a good man 🙏❤️
Rhea is a vegetarian btw, so not sure what you're on about mate
The elephant guys, the small vendors all are trying to make a living in a hard competetive land with rampant poverty. They could have quoted a correct price for the object to start with.
We know. We tried to buy a few things across the weeks we were in India but sadly we couldn’t buy everything ☹️
Only 150₹ this..😅😅
Thanks for watching! ☺️
When my wife and I went to India, she got sexually assaulted at least 6 times. Tits felt, arses rubbed etc etc. Happened mostly in the north. Indian men are on another level.
Woah that’s awful! I’m so sorry this happened to her ☹️

Man why did you choose to go by walking from Bramhapuri side to go Nahargarh, That is very long way to walk😂, you would have go from Amer road on the way from Jal mahal❤. Take rest man i can feel your pain after you choose to hike Nahargarh 😂😂😂
Hahahaahhaa if we ever return we will definitely pay extra to take the short walk! Thanks for watching brother, we loved Jaipur! 😁❤️
6:04 Animas are being used for human purposes since ages in India,in history there used used to be war elephants which used to wreck havoc over enemies, even in temples they are used for various rituals ,and all these purposes gave rise to a whole community in various part of India called mahouts who were basically associated with Elephant,,I appreciate ur concern regarding selfish use of animals by human and the pain they had to bear for this but the real world is very harsh u know we daily drink milk of cows for which they are constantly subjected to pregnancy nd upon that people also kill them and eat them,,,,,u see majority of the people in the world are hypocrats they claim to love animals be it dog or cat or horses and the next moment they eat chicken, cow, pigs, goats, fishes etc, etc,I think pain shouldn't be discriminated based on ur favourite animals isn't it,
You’re totally right! Thanks for watching 🙏✨
People who eat animals should give a lecture about animal cruelty.
Thanks for watching 😊
But oh noooo those poor elephants😢
Super sad to see tourists riding them 😭
@@duosdream what about those poor animals whom you people eat.. hypocrite westerners 😂 crying about elephant use of commercialisation..why do you people commercialize wild animals put in prison in zoos? at least these animals are free and have enough food..#stopeatinganimals😢

Wow that sounds like an incredible journey!! 🤩🤩✨✨

Check the video! 😁
I like how these guys lecturing about elephants while they kill everyday to eat chicken, pork, mutton, beef and fish. No thankyou for your advice
Thanks for watching! 😃
just like we have domesticated dogs...these are domesticated elephants... the take care of them and feed them like their children...just like how ppl take care of their dogs or cats. If domesticating elephants is bad then having any other animals is just as bad.
For them There is "Animal rights" for alien animals but not for There domestic animals. 😊
Justice for kings guard horse at Westminster.
@@duosdream I hope you guys don't take my comment in a negative way. But Indians have been domesticating and breeding elephants for agriculture and war since 2000 B.C, you can read more about this on Google/Wikipedia, This is a matter of Cultural Legacy that we want to preserve. I hope you guys have a fantastic trip in India.😁
@@nish6106 no we don’t, and we totally understand that Indian people use elephants and it’s part of the culture 🙏 actually we were directing our comments towards tourists riding them. Thank you so much for watching, we really loved our time in Jaipur! 😁😁
