Would you do the Twist and Warp tools next? I don't really understand those tools

They looked at Blender and said, " Blender has all them useless tools no one ever uses, we need to add some of them"

@blackjew6827...The tools in 3DCoat are there by user request. Should we stop listening to users?

      @@PILGWAY3DCoat sometimes, yes.
I love 3DCoat, and I want it to be a better tool and you make more money of it.
And you adding a tool I'll not use will not change that, I just don't want you making a over bloated program.

@blackjew6827....This tool is not bloatware. It allows the user to create shapes very quickly that would be much more difficult to do in other tools. Just because you may not see how it might fit your particular needs, that doesn't mean many other artists won't find it useful, especially in hard surface modeling. There are a number of objects this can help create, like piping, rails with curved corners, trigger guards on weapons, etc. It can help create bends in dragon scales, claws or teeth... there are many uses, even if they are not all demonstrated in this short video.

Excuse me, how do I change the number of steps in the undo history? The default feels a bit low.

There currently is no means of manually adjusting the UNDO levels. If you would like for this option to be enabled, please send your request to support@pilgway.com

    I want 3DCoat to do:
Make organic form sculpting (people and things) simple.
Make Hard surface modeling (CAD/plasticity) easy.
    Make retopology less retarded.
Let me paint/texture the things I make.
and that all, make it do this 4 things and then make it stable, then you well be better then 80% of your competition.
We don't need MORE tools, we need better tools.
Make it feel I'm working with clay / marble / metal / wood.

The functionality in this tool was requested by users. Just because you may not see much need for it in your projects, that doesn't mean other users don't. Furthermore, the purpose of the demonstration was to show how a user can experiment with tools like Bend, Twist and Axial, to produce not only the intended shape (the Bend tool is great for things like piping or curved shapes that are not so easy to do otherwise), but some interesting ones that they can quickly add to their kitbashing library.

3D Coat is the only tool that really feels like working with clay. Its retopo is far from retarded and widely used int he industry. So is it's painting. And it doesn't even aim to be a CAD software. All your points are just saying that you are not knowing these tools well enough and have no basis for these criticisms without any concrete points of backing them up. Especially "Make sculpting feel more organic" is kinda ridiculous. Take a look at Yama Jubarev's work (and many other skilled artist using Coat).

@@harrysanders818 What I have written was not what 3D Coat "does bad".
I love 3D Coat and want the Devs to make more money.
What I have written is an overall of what I want from a 3D modeling software.
      I worded it poorly.
