Seems like a frankenship, cobbled together from an excess of spare parts, which isn't what I'd expect given Starfleet's history of sleek and well-integrated engineering. It's pretty, but the vibe is all wrong for Star Trek.

See, this is the reason why I don't want the Trailblazer to ever be canonized. Starfleet was intentionally de-aggroing at the end of Picard, and returning to their usual status-quo. The Trailblazer would not fit in with that mindset at all. However, in Star Trek Online, where combat IS the main focus of the game, the Trailblazer fits right in.

Starships designed to spend their whole life in space don't need to be sleek. In this case, sleek uninterrupted lines appear to have been foregone in order to load the ship up with gun turrets. Obviously a combat-oriented design. Most Starfleet ships are primarily exploration vessels. They all have some form of defensive armament, but in most cases, supporting armaments is not the ship's primary role - exploration and science is. The ship in this video, on the other hand, appears to be a warship - supporting its armaments is its primary function. As a result, the armaments themselves can be bigger and more powerful. This results in gun turrets and blisters and such like that break up the smooth lines, but that's OK.
