This was so sweet Benny is getting so big. He will eventually get use to napping in crib during the day. I remember 33 years ago with my son and it wasn't happening they get so attach. That was a bond with a Mom. Hims so cute . I love those Nubys never saw those. You look Amazing Catilyn. That was funny you and Ty with the tortilla. I might try that. Lol. My third bub (and first boy) is 6.5 months and sleeps wonderfully most nights and has since birth. But naps have been and still are a struggle for him. He only does maybe 20 minute naps most days. It’s a miracle if he gets an hour in. My first two were terrible night sleepers for their first year, and only one of them did good naps right off the bat. My first didn’t take good naps or have good night sleep until closer to 9 months 😓

Hope yous feel better soon! Is there somewhere close by uou can get homemade elderberry syrup? It’s works great. I make my my own and there’s a ton of ways to make it to your family’s liking. Recipes and berries can be bought online (I use etsy)
Breastfed babies are a whole different ball game! Im still exclusively bf with my 3rd baby, he is almost 5 months now, but the struggles this time around are SO much different than the struggles I faced with my other 2 girls who were not breastfed. My little guy ONLY naps in a baby carrier! Im betting little Benny might do better in his crib once he hits 6 months! Also try double boob before a nap or bedtime!! Sometimes the extra milk knocks them right out 😆 and the MAGIC MERLIN SUIT!!! You have to try it!!
Maybe you should think about getting a sling or baby carrier? I used a baby carrier to get chores done with both of my boys while they napped on me in those first few months and it helped me be productive!

My daughter didn't nap well in her crib either. I would swaddle her and then put her in her swing, she napped great in there! Probably wasnt the right thing to do but 🤷🏻♀️

Maybe try putting ur shirt next to him during the day while he naps
So he can feel that you are next to him.
I did that with my daughter and doing the same with my son now .
