Marvel's Wolverine is an upcoming video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, it is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology, while also deriving from various adaptations in other media. Marvel's Wolverine is a standalone entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, telling an original, self-contained story that shares continuity with Insomniac Games' other Marvel titles.

I'm not sure if that's the case because it's wolverine, it already has a pretty solid audience, buuttt the reason this video is not taken down already might be because of market testing. How was Spider-Man 2 rushed?
A fraction of the content that was planned for venom made it into the game. Tony Todd, the voice actor for venom, said that they only used about 10% of his recorded lines. Even without that, it's still obvious the game was rushed because of the terribly paced 3rd act, the lack of day one content, and some of the suits were clearly unfinished and unpolished.@@TitanBolt99

Also, his palms should be facing each other when climbing. Because if he's climbing with this palms facing the ground then the sharpness of his claws should just instantly cut through whatever he's trying to climb, like a hot knife through butter and that would make it impossible for him to climb anything. It looks like they didn't put enough thought into this game. That's disappointing lol.

@@nkemnoraulmanfredini7286 I’m just saying that if his claws are as sharp as they’re supposed to be, climbing with palms down would be like using a hot knife through butter, they’d instantly slice through the wall rather than hold his weight. He’d need to use the dull part of his claws, which is on the sides, by facing his palms toward each other to get a proper grip.

@@TkaftGamez if i made a wolverine game, i would have made it open world and logan had his bike to travel from place to place (also cyclops car), the open world should have xavier school, MRD camps, trusk facilities, genosha(magneto's lair), sentinel roaming the streets...now, that's called an ambitious game unlike insomniacs linear level design with reused Spider-man enemies and movements.

They intentionally made his model look short/stocky, but at the same time he's similar height to the NPC's due to limited game models. Its a problem with other games like Spider-Man or The Last of Us for example, where all the male and female NPCs are the same height. Or the Midnight Suns game, where Wolverine is tall because they reused Captain America's model on him because there's only 3 or 4 body types for character models in that game.

This is definitely a pre-alpha build. Many sound effects are missing. Plus the particle and terrain deformation effects as well still looks good. I can't wait until it's fully polished. And releasing..

They really should make this game like Wolverine Origins. It needs to be like a GoW hack and slash game or something. Hopefully it turns out well but I don't know if open-world works as well with Wolverine, it's cool he can scale buildings but Spider-Man is way more suited to an open-world environment since he can travel quickly.

Thankfully the character is the aspect most likely to be full of placeholders (unlike some of the other design decisions here) but these may be legitimate deal breakers for me.
Wolverine needs to be jacked. I'd prefer a short comic accurate wolverine but at a minimum he needs to be jacked. Everything else about him just seems wrong whether its the weird face model, minimal "wolverine styled" hair, sideburns sticking out of the mask, and is that body armor in a wolverine suit? Doesn't seem like whoever made the (hopefully) placeholder even understood the basis of their character.
Steve Blum has played wolverine for years. Same as nolan north's deadpool who was just in midnight suns alongside him last year. It'd be insane not to cast Blum as he is just too iconic. Especially when this (again hopefully) placeholder just sounds so dull.

I suggest having a longer lunge jump aswell, which you can hold down a button for and charge up to jump longer distances. I also suggest keeping his traversal options limited else he feels too much like spiderman
