One profession I have always had the highest respect for. All Airman/woman from around the world who literally have hundreds of lives in their hands on a daily basis. Because of their skill and professionalism disasters are extremely rare and they make flying low risk and extremely safe for millions of passengers. Always in awe of the Captain and Co in these cockpit videos, when taking off and rocketing down the runway in a metal tube full of jet fuel, these guys appear to do it with ease as I do in my car driving to the local supermarket.

@@codingvio7383 Starting up a modern aircraft isn't too hard, especially with general knowledge of stuff on board an aircraft. Lights are generally on the lower part of the overhead panel, IRS is up there, battery switches, external power, APU, fuel pumps, etc. The only main difference between aircraft is the MCDU/FMS, which varies quite a bit.
Wow the level of responsibility that a pilot needs is amazing. I can't even imagine if a pilot forgets to check a single button, it could be catastrophic thank you for your bravery. And keeping everyone in that plane safe.

People who operate and tend to aircraft and its passengers are just legends. They will do anything to keep you safe no matter what. Unlike most people who don’t know how to fly a plane and would probably slam the tail into the ground during landing, pilots are masters at controlling and flying aircraft and will most definitely get you and you fellow passengers or crew out of a sticky situation. Planes are also very safe and you will rarely experience any failures in the plane, they are thousands of times safer then cars people who desire them and maintain them keep them in such a good condition that I bet someone would think a 25 year old plane is fresh out of the production site.

I am 28 years old now, I set aside my dream to be a Pilot just to support my family financially. I don’t know if I will be still one someday but there is something that still bugging me to chase it and keep on pushing that maybe one day.
