Love the Dave Day. I enjoy learning the back end rather than just see it get done.
Dude... this is GOLD.
Great video always been a little intimidated by body work this video took alot of that away now I just need to figure out the spray gun setup than I feel like I'll be off to the races and can finish the rest of my truck so that I can say I built the whole thing from the motor swap to the lift and finally body and paint thanks dave your 1 of the sharpest guys on the tube that I tune into
I’m growing tired of the negative comments. If you guys don’t like the progress on his builds. There’s a very simple solution. Don’t watch his videos and go watch something else. He has made it clear before. If you don’t like the videos.. go kick rocks!
Sticks and stone will break my bones, but words will never ………. No matter your displeasure, people are entitled to they’re opinions, weather you, him ,or anyone else has an issue with it. That’s a you problem, Just in the same, as you making your comment about it.
Just don’t be surprised and take it to heart that much, you put yourself out there in the public eye, of course others will criticize as well as applaud. Don’t let the little shit you can’t control, control you.
Thank you for all your knowledge Dave.
Thanks for watching
First times I did bodywork and paint, I learned on my own(way before the internet was like it is today), and I basically did EVERYTHING you said not to.
Things like working small dents alone, or letting the hardner dry on the spatula and BREAK it off(ha, it does ruin the edge). 😆
Hey Dave. I love the direction your channel is headed lately. Very informative, thank you for sharing your skills with everyone. Much appreciated
Thanks for watching
Love the way the info is presented! The way you go through each step makes it so that doing body work doesn't seem so daunting for anyone trying it for the first time
Im not a body man by trade, but would not be afraid to try to smooth out a couple small whisky dings. Good common sense video Dave. Please make more how to videos.
Great video Dave! Always enjoy learning from you 👍🏼
Great video lots of great info I think when people think body filler they see these inch thick covered panels that are cracking and peeling. I never apply more then 1/4 in thick if needs more then that I usually get new panel or weld in for quarters
Great video!!!!👊👊👊👊
Well presented with great info.
Thanks
Damn he is faster than a DA . BAHAHAHA 😂😅. Great video Dave
I always sand the filler flat with 80 grit and use feather fill g2 to fill all the scratches then 2k urethane block with 400 then paint. There’s a million way to do it 👍
Damn....you paint after blocking with 400?.... sand scratches like a mofo
@@timcanizares5240 most sealer covers 300 grit
@@timcanizares5240 400 is perfect for solid colors any finer than 600 you can run into adhesion problems
Very informativ ,but not for beginers.
Damn bro break out the power tools, save the blocking till after you fill and sand, fill, sand primer, guid coat /fix dips.. then primer agin then guide coat and block..
