- Cookiezi's stream when he got unbanned! No Twitch chat because it's this stream happened too long ago and it wasn't properly backed up.
TL;DR,
Cookiezi is widely considered the greatest osu! player of all time.
He intentionally and openly cheated a few scores in 2013 in order to get himself banned. This was because he had wanted to quit the game due to eye issues, however the osu! staff refused his request to delete his account, which combined with other problems led to his intentional self-ban.
2 Years later, he reconciled with osu!creator peppy and managed to unban his account on 2015/11/25.
He has went on to set unmatchable scores, set numerous records and regained his #1 global ranking soon after his unban, something he held on to consecutively for over a year until in January 2018 when he was sniped by Rafis.
Since Mid-2017, Cookiezi started transitioning to playing for fun instead of ranks and as of 2019, he plays infrequently and rarely plays any ranked maps, citing his lack of motivation and enjoyment playing the game. Despite this 'Plz Enjoy Game' mood, he is still considered the greatest player of all time and every now and then, he would set a random amazing score that reminds everyone who he is.

it was harder to get pp back then, as farming/farm maps wasn’t as prevalent and old maps tend to have low ODs which greatly decrease the pp gained.

i'm still finding it weird how every top player was banned at one point
Most top players who got banned during this age were actual cheaters or in someway broke the rules, if they come back strong and legit mean they imoroved alot on ban duration (whitecat is best example)

@@AStixMatism There are a LOT of proofs on internet after thousand of osu experience anyone can see who is cheating and who isnt, especially in 2015 when cheats werent that discret (untapped misses, constant UR, aim referring to timewarp...) There are so many weird stuff in many whitecats liveplay thatve been enlighten, however he's pretty legit now

@@AStixMatism Okay. What CopyCat gave you as a SOURCE is that there are many videos talking about their bans. Just watch any video, on youtube, talking about Whitecat's/Cookiezi's/ or anyone else's story who got banned at a moment and it explains many questions on "why and how did they cheated" by highlighting their blatant details on replays, livestreams etc...

Edit: actually he had an eyesight problem so he did this to distance from the game
@@Zack-Strife to add, apparently (my sources is other comments). Some mods of the sort didn't let shige close his account. So he did that to get banned and clear his data.
