I loved how this movie finally did the Riddler justice . The riddler has always been a C class Villian and basically a joke to the rest of the bad guys but this film made him terrifying . It was great and now he can be taken seriously amongst the other Batman rogues .
I always considered him underrated. His version in the Hush comic was where I became a bigger fan of him
I like how Reeves has opened up the true psychosis of the Riddler … I enjoyed this Batman better then any of the previous ones.

Only true Batman fans know riddler is up there with joker, and scarecrow. The Jim Carrey riddler really made him a joke for years. He’s literally the foil to Batman as a detective perfect villain for a detective based film. I hope they have scarecrow as the next villain he’s my favorite rogue
I just saw this movie today, and it was totally worth the nearly three hours I spent sitting in the theatre. I am so happy I’m seeing it again on Sunday with my cousin. Well done to Robert Pattinson, Matt Reeves, Zoë Kravitz, and everyone else who was involved in this movie

@@HokageFlete That's laughable given I already knew the film will fail from when Pattinson was cast. If anything it is a W because I was right.
Only seen it once so far. It's a lot process, but I loved it. Robert Pattinson is now my favorite live-action take on the character. I don't think anyone has had as much presence in the role as he has. Zoe Kravitz is phenomenal as Selina. Paul Dano's Riddler was legitimately terrifying and compelling. Farrell's completely unrecognizable and love the potential he has. Serkis and Wright are great in their roles too, and I love the dynamic they both have with Rob's Batman. The narrative was complex and absorbing and I think it will hit differently the second time around.
I totally agree! IMO Pattinson is the best live action Batman 😍
I especially enjoyed the part he joined the black parade and started singing as he was leaving a hot topic.

This was a very good Batman movie. This channel should do a top ten moments in The Batman list next.
Spoiler : I think he was nerfed in this film but it looked more realistic he was using a parachute to dive down instead of his cape

The flare scene is just amazing. It shows how Batman will guide Gotham citizens towards the light, bringing them out of the shadows.
Two things.
1. Best rendition of Bruce Wayne/Batman to date. 5 stars for the movie.
2. I beg to differ on the "mystery prisoner" reveal. He DID, in fact, have a white face and green hair. You can see the green highlight as the camera pans away from him. Plus, since he wasn't referenced as the Joker by anyone at any time in the movie, maybe he's not called The Joker yet...in the same way "Vengeance" isn't called Batman quite yet. I believe The Riddler will deserve the credit for naming Batman because Bruce didn't like that last Riddler fanatic saying his name was Vengeance when questioned.
Bruce wayne? He isn’t supposed to be a recluse, he is the exact opposite of Batman which is done on purpose

Colin farrel as penguin was brilliant and can't wait for the rise of penguin TV series, also his mafia voice is great
I love the parallels from this Batman to the Gotham tv shows, from the little ones where Bruce tells Alfred he isn’t his father to how similar Andy serkis and Sean pertwee’s respective Alfred’s are, they both taught Bruce to fight, to not kill etc etc
Matt Reeves has already confirmed that the inmate in Arkham is the Joker 🃏
My favourite feature of this film was everything to do with the detective aspect, that was so cool and Pattinson was seriously good IMO.
This does really capture a Batman year 2 esque portrayal and I would love to see it develop to further projects like Dark Knight Returns

Just saw this Masterpiece in IMAX and I’m astonished. The best movie I’ve seen since The Dark Knight and Endgame. A masterclass in Cinema! Can’t wait to see a 4-hour Reeves cut

The movie was really well made. I got strong "seven" vibes though, starting from the riddler apartment and the fact the he got arrested before putting his last act in display.
A youtuber who I like to watch actually said that the batman movie is a parody of "seven" which is true but in my opinion a very good "comic-book" version.

You know when you over hyper movie and then it lets you down, I was never let down. I can't remember ever that excited for a movie, and it was everything I hoped for and more. The detective, Darkness and brutality aspects of Batman we're perfectly captured.
Just saw the movie, and my expectations were low. I came out a huge fan of this movie. Very well done and the music/score was great too.

@Sergio Barrett Pattison is the best Batman... but his Bruce Wayne wasnt. The movie is amazing but comparing with TDK is not even close
And Avengers Infinity War will be absolut 0 without Thanos... so yeah Heath Ledger performance was important....duh

Watched this last night & I can't wait to watch it again! I am so happy with this movie. Robert was definitely up to the task, busting both his Diggory & Cullen roles, for sure. Absolutely love everyone in it. Imo, They all played their roles perfectly. Well Done All 🥰💜

I thought that the suspenseful moments in some scenes were a little dragged, but I also thought it was done on purpose to bring out that unsettling tone.
I also noticed they did a lot with the lighting in this movie.
Definitely a big fan of Riddler's portayal here.
Same here this version of the Riddler felt very grounded and practical while at the same time being very terrifying almost like a dichotomy opposite of the batman.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think The Batman is not a bad movie, it's just okay.
They made a decent crime/mystery/thriller that could have just as easily not been a Batman movie. The Batman elements don't really contribute to the narrative.
As a Batman movie, its overall tonal similarity to the Nolan movies gives the new film a sense of "been there, done that".
I'll watch it again some time and give it a more in-depth analysis. (excellent acting all around, though, and I like the soundtrack)

I was thinking since gotham was affected by the flood, many others were affected too, that includes Mr. Freeze's wife and maybe from there they could try to introduce Mr. Freeze for a sequel. I really want him to be in the sequel because the version we got in Batman and Robin didn't do justice to the character.

Im kinda pissed they put Joker in at the end, everyone loves the Joker but Batman has so many other rogues we can dive into first. Hopefully this will become its own franchise and they let it burn slowly to Joker becoming the bug bad

I love the scene between when he saves the people stuck during the flood and when the lady doesn't let go of him it's so fricken hopeful
I’m not big on rewatching movies.. especially super hero movies because most have been pretty cliché for the most part. But this movie plot and story line is AMAZING. I will def be watching this again! One of the best superhero movies ever. Top 5.. maybe top 3!
3 hours well spent! Amazing how the momentum keeps through the whole movie! Not a single time, where u could do something else than just keep watching! And how badass is that car! Omg the speakers in the cinema was put to its max!

its a great movie but a few nitpicks the biggest is he says he doesn't kill people & so on but is basically the reason all those people died on that highway Don't get me wrong that car chase was bloody awesome but was unneeded he got all he needed & he just let him go after it all but the impression he gave was that he didn't care about all those people dying in that huge truck crash
the dark knight is still the best Batman movie IMO
It’s he’s second year as Batman he’s still learning developing into what he’s to become
So I felt that showed how inexperienced he really is at this point
And I felt with the dark knight he was already 100% Batman which ok but in my opinion I feel this Batman is probably the best for my taste

Penguin killed those people, not Batman. Penguin was the one who pushed that truck causing that traffic jam. All Batman did was chase penguin. The only things he did damage to was penguin’s car, a barrel, and a fence.

i saw it in an AMC theater on March 1, and it was amazing.... we all applauded at the end.
I was very curious how Pattinson would be as Batman and I actually think he did really well. Definitely recommend going to see this movie

Saw it yesterday and i loved it.
ABSALUTELY BRILLIANT
It's a good movie, it's a more of a detective movie rather than a super hero movie.
Favorite part was when he used bane venom.
This was a great BatMan movie. Probably the most enjoyable of all that I have seen. I give props to the first Keaton film and the first and second Bale movies. But this one was on a different level and style. It worked from start to finish and Pattinson’s BatMan is on par or better than the others on many levels. Great job and looking forward to sequels.
Would love if they connected joaquin phoenix’s joker to this universe, would fit so well

I like The Batman more than the previous ones. Main reason is how patterson played the role. For example: Batman's Arkam City, it felt like it was Tony Stark in batman's costume.
To me the ending conformes that Riddler will collab with the Joker.

Pattinson is Batman. Incredible job. Surprising how close to the real world this movie is. Smart. Dark. Intense.
Well I was pleasantly surprised at how well this film turned out. While I don't consider it to be "the best batman film ever", like some people have claimed (to me the best Batman movies ever are a tie between the 2 Tim Burton Movies and the Dark Knight Trilogy from Christopher Nolan) but I consider Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Batman to be equal to Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman as I was in both cases pleasantly surprised at how well each did. This latest film has a mixture nod of both the Dark Knight trilogy for it being very grounded in reality as far as the gear shown; as well as the film Seven. And even a bit reminiscent of Dexter with a good bit of the film's dialogue being Bruce Wayne's internal narration.
The film didn't seem to have a run time of almost 3 hrs. And the the action choreography was also well done. Overall a good film and well worth the time and money to see it in the theaters. I would give this film a 7 to 8 out of 10, and I am looking forward to the possible upcoming sequel.

Honestly I think Robert Padinson did a amazing job as batman, but I don’t know about his Bruce Wayne. I honestly think he could work on his Bruce Wayne, but in conclusion he did great 😌
