+30% damage with no drawback is always OP, and this phoenix turns shaft into a real quickscope, which makes gameplay so fun. IMO coolest phoenix so far

U know sometimes I used to do fast-scope by shaft using armor piercing, and then Tanki made a phoenix that works like that but the problem is the XP points to unlock it are too high

Imagine two Shaft Phoenix users having a Wild West kind of duel where the one who kills the other opponent from a quickscope faster wins
Phoenix augement should stay the same stats. They're nerfing phoenix augs like their player base even gives a damn about the phoenix challenge😂
Understand that the only hard thing of getting phoenix, is the patience, so at some point everyone will have them. You make broken phoenixes, the people who get it will make the game eventually harder to those to don't have it, so the process of getting it becomes slower for cassual or new players. Basically is a system that rewards the og and punish the new, wich is the opposite of what a game initially want to do
Arguebly the best phoenix augment currently but i think it's likely to get a nerf. Maybe a minimum damage decrease so u cant just one shot someone instantly, or a reload nerf to balance for the fast scoping capabilities.
I think they will just nerf it to using all the energy even with just aiming a little bit

I agree that hull phoenix should have 1M points not 5M (500K is not that much ) That could be perfect balance for pulsar meta
Actually would be stupid, because you lose your whole overdrive, just to counter an augment that you can beat easily by getting good.
@@Not-Kobe actually nope, if you are actually good at the game yk that overdrive doesn't actually do much, since you can do the same things without it, the only change is that no one with pulsar can stop your entire push just because he is lucky (Ik someone using pulsar alone isn't going to kill you, but normally you get shot by other enemies while having the status effect and can't do nothing about it)
@@InsanityKillstreak If you're actually good at the game, you would know how useful your overdrive can be, and how easy is it to counter pulsar.
Obviously it would be nerfed. Tanki first releases an augment so powerful then nerf it, idk if any other game do like tanki, every augment is nerfed like tanki think before releasing it then. Shaft Pheonix will be nerfed by reducing arcade damage,plus in scope mode you will do 3300 damage but the reload time is also the long, like you don't have to wait for scope for maximum damage but the reload time will also be of maximum damage

I dislike the Shaft turret especially when it’s equipped with no augments, because when you enter sniping mode there’s no way you can zoom out or even cancel the shoot to save time reloading

Also the snipe charge stops in the EXACT PLACE that u stopped charging, instead of like a 30% drawback.

Kind of weird they are nerfing the phoenix augments considering the fact that it takes HALF A YEAR to unlock with constant grinding.
Well considering that Phoenixes are basically legal mega-hacks im cool with them being at "very OP" levels and not flat out hacking levels.
Not because it takes half year of constantly grinding means they are supposed to be broken. It's like saying that everyone that goes to university should end being rich
@@Not-Kobe it takes 1000 hours AVERAGE to get a SINGLE PHOENIX. that's not just playing the game for 1000 hours which is almost 42 DAYS OF NON STOP GAMING it's using the same combo and somehow not getting bored to hell. if he grinded 10 hours a day for months and got some OP toy then let him have it. He is likely jobless basement dweller anyway cuz absolutely nobody with an actual life can grind so fast so just let him enjoy something in life.
@@DokkanPerfect That's where you miss... You think people need to rush to get phoenix augments, thing that isn't true unless they make that only a limited amount of players can get it so you rush those 1000 hours or play normally to get it. Phoenix are terrible idea from the simple fact of that it's existence is auto destructive for the game, augments that act as firewall for new players in the future and even old players that didn't rush to get them fast will be in troubles as their existence will make grinding for them harder.

average player (average play time a day, average score etc.) would have to play 13 years to complete phoenix. once again they have to play with the same combo for 13 years and not get bored of the game in the first place. by the time phoenixes would be "accessible" for everyday players this game is long dead. if somehow it's still here then you can always just nerf phoenix when it actually becomes a problem.

Yall be your own judge, but from what I’ve seen, he mains ASL to rush flags when the match starts and then leaves once the defending team starts to gain composure. He’s known as an XP fiend, not a team player, and pushes teammates out of the way for any chance of the flag.

Imagine an augment that makes the game unfair for everyone while more people get it becomes harder to get, just because the devs couldn't predict something so obvious.

@@Not-Kobe No. It was nerfed due to causing lag [like Helios for Ricochet] since everyone had it and, I highly suspect, due to me. Explanation below if you care.

-I was oneshotting almost everybody, Legends included, with a MK 6.
-As a f2p Marshall.
-With MAX Brutus.
-Full 50% Armadillo on a 9999 tank was able to withstand 3 hits at most iirc.
-I would push their tanks, which would make *my* turret aim straight at *their* turret most of the time, since the current Hull meta is Viking and most hulls have a similar height, causing *EVERY* pellet to hit the turret, overriding Armadillo too [those would be a 2 or 3 shot kill iirc just like 50% Hammer Protection Modules], because Blunderbuss Hammer didn't fire one single projectile; it fired around 30 or more all at once, and since it was shooting straight at the turret point blank, they were all Critical shots.
-That would oneshot almost anything in the game pre-nerf while now only a maximum of 15 pellets can hit one tank at once.
-Remember, a MK 6. Not a MK 7 or a MK 7-20.
-My tank was not MAX 7-20 yet and it still isn´t; that is, with Hammer. I have a few MAX guns, but not Hammer due to them nerfing Blunderbuss and making it very bad imo.
(The spread also sucks imo: It used to be a slightly broader cone than the regular Hammer, now it looks like the spread is making the Spider-Man hand pose; how did they manage to make regular no Augment Hammer better than current Blunderbuss?)
