Just curious how you decided whether to install it in symmetric mode instead of asymmetric mode (rotated columns). I am looking at one of these and I am not sure which configuration is best. Many of the shops on TV use the rotated columns. Thanks.

You didn't have to shim the posts at all???

    Great job on this!
Roughly how many feet away is the first post from the wall?

I’ve got about 4ft on the left side of the lift (if you’re facing the lift)

Just wondering would you be able to walk right underneath your vehicle, I couldn’t tell at the end

How tall are you? I'm a bit over 6' and looking for a lift that can lift my CCLB F250 while I stand under it. There's the 10,000 lb Extra Tall 2-Post Lift that I may end up getting.

The instruction book for the lift is terrible, particularly for the safety pin's springs install. You can also see that some thing got lost in translation between Chinese (Made in) and English ( Sold as) the 2hp motor require 40 Amps breaker? therefore # 8 wire??? My 5hp compressor run an heavier duty on 30 Amps! Then the wiring inside the motor connection box is at most # 12. Ridiculous. The diagrams are unreadable exactly the same on line. Can someone at ATLAS send an IKEA instruction book to the Chineses to show them how it's done. Please.

So you skipped over all the helpful stuff like wiring up and adjusting for the safety locks. That said, nice video.
