My Dad has M.S . He used to be an absolute machine. He got a frozen shoulder not long after realizing something was wrong with him. I watched him deteriorate mentally and physically. We decided to ignore the doctors. He is now forcing himself to workout with help of me and my brother.. I seen one of your videos yesterday and we decided to get him in the ice bath. He feels great just from a quick dip. We may have started him out a little too cold but he did it. I am concerned about heart issues he’s had in the past but we tried it anyways. He still feels good today after dipping yesterday. We are going to start doing it 3 times a week. Thanks for the info
Watched this twice and made me cry multiple time cause I relate so much cause I feel the exact same but have no goals (not in the army) and I'm now buying a ice bath because this gave me so much confidence
Justin, so proud of your accomplishments. Watching you as a young man was amazing although scary at times and I had to stop watching your videos on the bike you amazed me. Now look at you even better . I'm so glad you found something that made you feel better. Keep up the good work. Xoxo
Thanks for putting this up. Similar experience. I'm starting ice baths too, will try anything (Primary Progressive also). The good thing is plenty experience of pain anyways (cheers MS) I always say it's the best time ever to have MS so hopefully we can have a different experience to the stories. Also for me the social side sucks people thinking you're drunk. Especially if you have actually had any alcohol. All the very best, you know your body best.
Ice baths I'm gonna try. Partly as cold seems to be better. Day 1 hour 0. I think you'd like Mike Boyd btw. on youtube. It's a complex blizzard of factors and you firmly took control of one. It's a step forward.
Thanks for your story
