I ended up grabbing a bottle of the 2016 because I couldn’t wait that long. What an excellent vintage. It was elegant, silky and the tannins were beautiful.
Delightful video. Interesting information about the Chateau. Brown was a very interesting guy, a latter-day Jacobite, apparently, and studied painting with Hilaire Belloc's father. Frustrating video too, for someone wanting to try Bordeaux but told that a wine available now (local store has the 2018, rated very highly) won't be drinkable before I'm dead.

@@thewinearchive I think that’s great what is nice about the videos is that it’s like you are at the winery the information provided and the knowledge of the vintages is paramount and makes for a truly unique educational and watching experience the only thing I was missing was a bottle to drink along with you both ! Haha
Great. Just found the channel recently. Very Nice that you included aan ‘off’ vintage like 2013 in the line up. Regards from the Netherlands.
Yes 2013 heeft zoveel potentieel.
Just bought my first bottle of Cantenac Brown the 2018 vintage. I can’t wait to drink it in 10-15 years. Great video
Nice! 2018 could be enjoyed already in 5-10 years if you can't wait that long haha
