Love your shelves and I wish I had some just like them. Not going hungry at your house.
The Neals' Homestead - thank you! No, we never go hungry around here, lol! 🤣
I just finished making 6 of the shelving units for my root cellar. We love them. Thank you so much for posting this easy to follow video!

The shelves look amazing! So does all of that food on the shelves. 👀 😋
Foster Family Fun - thank you! I thought we had a pretty good amount of food storage but it’s nothing compared to what my sister and brother-in-law have. Plus that’s not all of it!
Awesome shelves. Y'all done a great job making them. Thanks for sharing this project with us.
Duncan 1900 Homestead - thank you so much for the nice feedback, we appreciate it!

Thank you, we appreciate that!
Came out beautiful! What a great shelving unit for canned goods but it's pretty too so could be a bookcase etc, love it! and how exciting to have family move closer, that is always nice
R Spryng Farm & Country - Thank you! I don’t really need them in my storage room but building them makes me want a couple for myself, lol! It’s great to have family near by - only 10 minutes. Believe it or not, we haven’t lived near any relatives since leaving Indiana in 1984!! 😳
@@OzarkMountainGoats wow! Then this really is special! Love that ❤️
Very nice food shelves. We need a bigger house to store food. Our kitchen is so small. Thanks for sharing.
2 1/2 Acres - Thank you! Half the battle of food storage is having the space to do it. 🤷♀️

Stacie’s Country Cooking & Adventures - thank you! I was pretty happy with the results and although I don’t need more storage - I’m trying to figure out where I could put a couple as well, lol! Thanks again Stacie ❣️
Ozark Mountain Goats Your Welcome
That wood was like butter under that blade!
Ernie Hatmaker - thank goodness for power tools, lol!
Those shelves will hold a ton of jars. I also use the same kind of stop block on my mitersaw station lol
Jordan’s DIY projects - they do hold a lot and my sister filled both units completely and she hasn’t unpacked it all! Yah, those stop blocks make quick work of it! 😆
Thank you for sharing. THIS was EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!!
You’re welcome! Good luck with your project 😊
Nice, wow, that is a pantry!
Flavors and Textures - thank you so much!

Once again, taking notes!
Ernie Hatmaker - Thank you!

Amazing Job!
Malia K - Thank you so much, we appreciate it!
I can't thank you enough
Paula Miller - you are welcome and I’m glad we could help❣️
I love yours better than what I've seen so far! How thick was the plywood you used? Please and thank you.
I just used 1/2" but you could use 5/8" or 3/4" depending on what your storing. Extra heavy stuff I would at least use 5/8". The price has went crazy so shop around. Thanks
I’m wanting to build something like this for my pantry in my basement but I can’t anchor to the wall. Any idea how I could anchor this into my concrete floor? My other option would be somehow anchor it to the cross beams for the floor above
Thanks for watching. Yes you can run a 2x2 on up to floor joist by screwing it on front or sides of vertical end boards. If it doesn’t line up with joists, screw a 2x2 or 2x4 on bottom of floor joist and screw added board from shelves running up to that board. Then attach. Kinda confusing but it can be done for sure. Good luck!

awesome, was this put in a space room?
My sister-inlaw and her husband just moved to Missouri. They bought a house and this was a small childs bedroom that they turned into food storage room! thanks for watching! / Jim

Siegfried Schlag - Thank you so much, we appreciate it! Have a blessed day 😊
Hey! You said you were going to use V supports in the back. 😬
Didn't need it because I was able to screw to walls at persons house I installed them in. Had they been sitting with no support I would have done that. You gotta go with the flow. Many times building something for someone else things changes, especially never seeing location until day I installed.
