instead of making it more narrow, you could insert a strip of wood into the slot as a spacer to narrow the track but keep it flexible for larger can if needed.
Same in the back of the smaller cans to push them to the front of the cabinet. Liked the idea of recessing this in the wall on a new or remodel build. Jus sayin'
@@SawyerRidgeFarm You could possibly make it a kit even if you had to find out what width and height to cut the frame pieces. For those without tools, finish then ship. But, for those of use that can, at the least, glue and nail, just ship the pieces labeled A through Z with a basic drawing and minimal instructions. I would buy the kit for sure.

Thank you for your service to this great country. I hope and pray that your time served was worth it and we do not collapse as a country and we can continue to do the things you have been able to do in your videos in a FREE country. It is great to see young people making their lives easier and giving that freely to your viewers. May God Bless You, Alex and your Family, pets included!
This is the first video that I've watched of yours and I've enjoyed every minute of it. Excellent craftsmanship and fantastic design. Thank you for explaining the entire process so anyone could do this project.
When making cabinets my dad used a tack cloth to clean off the wood instead of water. That way if the wood was prone to turn a different color with water, it kept that from happening. You can also use a tack cloth between polyurethane coats (after a light sanding). This makes the finish look like glass. I remember being responsible for those steps when I got older... I did have to pass inspections between steps!
Looks great! I’ll need one for my tiny house. I bought a 12x32 shed and converting it to my home. I started watching Jason Crocker when he was reviewing sheds. He did such a good job that I bought me one. I enjoy all yours and Alex’ videos. Y’all are such a sweet couple. God Bless You and keep you safe!! ❤️from Tennessee!!!
Awesome! Jacob, you did a wonderful job on this can pantry! I'm going to share this video with a friend who has carpentry talents and pay him to build me one for my walk in pantry. I would not need one if this size since I am a retired senior who lives alone but the organization idea is perfect for me. Thanks. Enjoy your channel very much.
I LOVE this! It is beautiful and very much needed in these days. The whole video is great. .. the music, the dog, ALEX, and of course, Jacob, you did an amazing job!
Sooo happy you got this done. It was worth the wait!!!! You explained everything great. I, a 70yr old grandma, will be trying this once the weather breaks.😬 Thank you. It’s beautiful!
Martha, that is a great idea! I was trying to figure out how to make that work, between my fridge and pantry. I have a tiny pantry and getting all the cans out would be awesome!!!
Great job. Love the idea. You’re right about the cans getting pushed back to the back and forgotten. And it clears up a lot of clutter to in your cabinets. I love Cedarwood beautiful wood. Thanks for Sharing this video on how to make one. God Bless you both.
Jacob, you did a fantastic job on this can rotator! Your instructions were very clear and it's so cool knowing that this used to be a tree from your farm. Not too many people can say that ya know. I'm thrilled that you posted the directions. Thx much for sharing. Hugs to Y'all

I’ll just soak those aches and pains away in a hot bath and of course you have the “trusty heating pad,”to help out the back ! 🤣Blessings!💕
Great job Jacob. You made the DIY build very simple and explained it very well. This would make a great DIY project for anyone.. That cedar looks awesome. You and Alex did a great job on the finish too. And something you can be even more proud of is you milled it from right there on your own property from start to finish. If I had plenty of cedar on my property it wouldn't take long for everything in my house to be cedar...lol
You think you can modify and make one for Jason’s ramen noodles..Ha 😂 all kidding aside, this is a great project and I would love to have one for my own use.

Wow what a wonderful idea! Any woman would love one of these in her home. It is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing this with us. You did a wonderful job.
I always wanted to build something similar. To able to use old before new. Prevent dents. Improve weight and space use. Been trying to problem solve a few issues you showed. Thank you.
I love this idea!! I wonder if a person could put 2 together with hinges on one side so the top one would swing out so you could get to the bottom one. I will have to think on that.
I was personally thinking of making one short but long one for the back and two half as long for the front then joining them together so all the cans face inside and the two shorter ones open outwards like a cabinet. It would need some really strong hinges but that way I could hang it on the wall or attach a nice top to the back one only (that covers the front ones too, obviously) and use it as an extra work surface. Heck, now that I think about it, you can turn that into a thin kitchen island maybe, if you build two cabinet style ones and place them back to back. He said it's about 4 inches deep, give or take, so four adds up to about 16 inches deep (maybe 15 inches if you eliminate one of the back panels and build the two in the middle as one piece) , and if you give it a top with a few inches of overhang, it would make a decent work space. If you add some heavy duty lockable wheels at the bottom, you could even move it around quite easily. Hmm... might be interesting for those with smaller kitchens. 😅
Excellent work Mr. Sawyer/Mrs, Sawyer. Using wood from your own land Nice work. You have an opportunity to make more of these fixtures and make it a small home buisness. I would like to see more of these projects. Thumbs up!!!
Jacob, you guys did an outstanding job with this. I'm very proud of the way you have transformed yourself. One added suggestion I would say, if you have a closet you don't use offen. You can build it into the sides or into the back of that closet. That would conceal it from prying eyes and incorporate more long term storage without taking up a lot of room. You could make every closet, along term pantry. LOL . Next vedio project could be a well organized root cellar, concealed up in the mountain. Like a hobbit house. Digging into the mountain for it, would keep the food nice and cold. G-D Bless you guys.
Excellent way to store canned food and keep them rotated properly. You wouldn't believe how much we've wasted by throwing away expired cans by finding them in the back of closet. Another simple project from you to the world, I thank you again sir.
You did a great job! Need to ask my son to make one for my pantry! Now I have to shuffle cans on my shelves to look for and get the can I want. That will be so much easier and it will save space in my pantry for other things. Thank you!

Oh I've been waiting on this!!
Great idea! Doing a remodel in spring 22. I plan in inserting into hallway wall off kitchen. Seeing this convinced the hubby.
The solution to people that do not want to see the cans is to just simply put a door on the front
That's what I was thinking, hinged, maybe a message center.
And to cut down on weight, make it a thin frame with cloth stretched over it.
I was thinking the same thing!
Some folks want to stealth prep so as to not attract improvident neighbors.
Maybe a curtain ?
