Guys! Dark Taylor is the one portrayed by the media. She's a robot, she's not real (even though you believe it is). The real Taylor is trapped behind the glass, and during the whole video she is trying to break from that media speech, that makes her look like an evil character. Eventually she finds her way out, only by using her voice, taking her narrative in her hands again. At the end of the video she's smiling 'cause she feels free. And a small lil' clue: In that last frame, if you pay attention, you can see a tear. She's human! Great video as always, loved your reaction.

Ok...This is all about the media's portrayal of Taylor.The Taylor I'm the hoodie represents Taylor's reputation as an evil person and a serial-dating machine (also when that Taylor is defeated you can see that she is a robot)The trapped Taylor represent the real Taylor and how her reputation gets her into trouble even though it's the MEDIA'S perspective.The hooded Taylor tries to control the real Taylor by giving her a robotic body which the real Taylor ends up turning it into an armor to fight back! (using negativity and hate as a weapon).The real Taylor struggles and fails a few times until she realizes that her voice (her music) is the only way to escape this; you see her scream before the last chorus which breaks the glass and destroys the fake Taylor the media has created.And then the light enters the place and she sheds a tear of joy proving she's human and has feeling like all of us.There are also anime references like when her eyes became more blue and brightening which in anime represents becoming more powerful due to anger or the need for revenge.There are lots lots more to say but this comment is already long enough✋
My take is that the light Taylor is the one who she truly is and who she wants everyone to see her as, the dark Taylor is the media's portrayal of her and it's an everlasting struggle between the two that she feels is a battle within herself

I think Yebba (Abbey Smith) gave one of the best vocal performance of 2017. Yebba-"My Mind" at So Far show in NYC. I have left comments with some other reaction friends and haven't gotten much feedback. I would really like to know what you have to say. Maybe I am wrong but I liked it.
