Good to see you back Dan, good explanation. I scratch built a convertible top for my Laurel & Hardy Model T Ford out of wire and toilet paper using the same method, turned out well but very fragile since it was one ply tp. lol.
really enjoyed that trick, spose I could also use the tissue for making decent feel to any convertible top or seat covers for that matter just like that and just use a flat paint wash over it as well! Hmm you have my mind going with possibilities! Thank you
Thanks brother for the tip and info on this. I will be starting a weathered up kit here soon and the info will be very helpful I look up your other weathering video as well. the one I'm about to do here soon will be my first time trying a weathered up car.
Dan it is so great that your back I have been checking your channel over the months hoping all is well with you and awaiting your return. You are a great teacher and I have always enjoyed your videos. And yes how you weathered the interior would be great as I had planned a diarama with a convertible Chevy without a top so interior ideas would be great (my plan was to have the old top in,the grass) I will use your method for that. Again Dan GREAT to have you back. Kerry
It's great to see you back Sir, looking forward to watching and learning more with your tips and hints...
That looks great! Thank you very much for sharing your techniques :)
