As a huge Riordanverse fan who is also Ace and Biro, I’m looking forward the Sun and the Star because gay AND Greek mythology? Sign me up! Also did people see the dedication when Rick showed it off in a short video the other day?
AH BESTIE JOEL DID INDEED! and it was from the fairyloot set they did, but i know the covers are just the regular uk editions ✨(they might only be in paperback tho)
so happy to see annihilation on your list, i hope you enjoy it! it's one of my favorite books of all time and i think more people ought to discover the wonderful worlds jeff vandermeer creates. the third book in the trilogy is amazing as well.
before the coffee gets cold is such a delightful read! I read it in january and enjoyed it so much. it says on the back that it is based on a theatre play and the writing style highlights this. ✨
Loved thiss! Honestly was sitting there agreeinggg with uu for the morganas arc like honestly 15 yr old me was thinking the same too ahah! Defo going onto my tbr for that one! Thanks Joel!
song of silver was such an amazing read! so excited to hear about your book club, foundryside sounds so fun and I also have been meaning to read it for a while. 🥰
I’m currently thanking my future English teacher because she gave us a summer reading for our AP English next year and she got me reading tons already this summer
I'm halfway through my tiny Spring TBR! All year I want to try and read the earliest publications of myths and stories alongside modern populair retellings. I just finished a Touch of Darkness and am going to start the Homeric Hymn to Demeter later tonight, both are about Persephone godess of Spring.
Oh my god babes, i FINALLY saw ‘The Iron King’ in my bookstore and the cover + synopsis is INCREDIBLE I want to read it so bad. Loving the edition you have behind you 😌ALSO FOUNDRYSIDE??? Sounds INCREDIBLE how have I NOT heard of it yet??? Im on the wrong side of the reading world apparently 😭 and yes, you best believe I’ll be joining that book club 😌💅🏻
I ADORE the goblin Emperor!! I jumped when you mentioned it, I just finished my 4th or 5th reread! Its a fantastic political drama with just incredible characters and a surprisingly comfy feel overall! So excited to see what you think!
A book I am looking forward to reading this spring is Dune by Frank Herbert From what I’ve heard from the book it starts out confusing, but you understand it the more you read, so it’s like Priory of The Orange Tree 😅 Plus, I’m looking forward to grabbing Shadow of The Gods Btw, I love your videos! Keep going ❤
In my experience, Dune is very confusing when you start but it does get easier the more you get through it 😂 but it’s a good read! Also, Shadow of the Gods is a book i’ve been meaning to get into too!! Also thank you 🥺🥺
the goblin emperor is on my tbr too!! i bought it at least a year ago and it's been collecting dust but i keep hearing good things so maybe i'll get to it soon D:
I had watched Annihilation before reading it and they are very different. There is more of a creepy feeling to the movie (extra added beast) than in the book. The book is still going to keep you in suspense! But just not really jump scary like the movie. I gave it a 4.5/5!
you should read the never ending story if you havnt. get the folio society verson its only 80 quid and theyve made it like the book in the book. i love it.
Whoa nice shelf space! I just recently started reading fiction. Non fiction is how i entertain myself but reading through old stories such as king arthur and his round table again and something has just lit my brain up. since then ive been on a buying spree trying to get the most beautiful fiction from my memory but finding fiction that hooks me without dipping into my nostalgia is a problem for me. im off to get Babel tomoz becuase it sounds right up my street. do you have any other recommendations that are worth a dip that one mght not know about because of his boring addiction to non fiction>?
I am so happy that I found your channel I also love reading novels mostly lgbt ones though but I am at the moment reading through the alex rider and percy jackson series I'm from England I love watching your videos you'r a very good looking guy definitely my favourite youtuber ❤️
Most important thing you'll ever read... They will be throw into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears let him hear. Matthew 13:42 In the parable of the weeds Jesus talks about two weeds growing side by side one God's children the other the Devil's. To avoid hell you must repent and believe in Jesus son of God. Jesus died for you live for him.
The strawberry shirt is fabulous 🍓👌 thanks for the recs
thank you for the compliment!
