I've been listening to S.253 for so long that I almost forgot this piece existed 😂 Great recording as usual, haven't heard this one before. The bravura style is totally nailed

Same, though, imo, Spanish Fantasy is better than this one.

Incredible interpretation which I haven't heard yet. Cohen does play Liszt really well.

(Whoever sees this, if you are willing to learn this piece, you might want to read things below here)
    Play in order:
    1. Spanish Rhapsody (Combined and Long) [Easiest]
    2. Romancero Espagnole (Slow and Long) [Medium]
    3. Grosse-Konzertfantasie uber Spanische Weisen (Fast, Slow, and Long) [Hardest]
After learning all 3, play on this order:
Romancero Espagnole, then Spanische Weisen, then Spanish Rhapsody.
    Major Differences to this piece:
    -Part 1 is new
-Part 2 (Jota Aragonesa) is a part of Romancero Espagnole, 5:31 is simplified.
-Theme 3 in 7:53 is highly simplified for the easiest part of the uber Spanische Weisen.
-The cumulative transition on 10:16 is another simplified version of the Romancero Espagnole Jota Aragonesa, with some changes.
-A combination of Romancero Espagnole and uber Spanische Weisen on 10:36
-The run starting from 10:54 got hard and simplified in some parts.
-The Return of Theme 2 from 11:10 the octaves got simplified a lot from the original Romancero Espagnole again.
-The Return of Theme 3 is from uber Spanische Weisen again but changed.
-More oversimplified uber Spanische Weisen vibes on 12:14
-Return of Theme 1, 12:51 is back to the original Spanish Rhapsody theme.
-The coda in the end is just a re-arranged version for the ending of uber Spanische Weisen.
Overall, a solid piece, it combines both two different Spanish themed pieces made by Liszt. And also adding an intro. Which has the best intro among the 3.
I'd say one of the hardest parts of this piece starts on 11:55 because it feels like the 1838 Arpeggios.
The jumps on 12:38 can be overwhelming and easily to miss notes here.
(Note: I have only played uber Spanische Weisen with cuts and Spanish Rhapsody)

Such an underrated channel. First, I found it through the Bach Toccata in E minor and the Organ Bach/Liszt prelude, which very well synced.
