As an adult survivor of childhood cancer, I want to personally thank WestJet and Ronald McDonald's House for bringing this little boy's dad to him. It's so scary when you're sick and being subjected to tests and strangers who are there to help you but often the help "hurts," like having your blood drawn, or undergoing painful tests. Nice job WestJet. I'd be proud to be one of your employees! Keep up the good work.

Love it! As a parent of a once-sick kid (pretty much better now) I have spent time in BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, The Stollery in Edmonton, and municipal hospitals in Kelowna, Calgary, Saskatoon and Regina while my son was admitted for various surgeries and procedures. I was fortunate to be present for the majority of those hospital stays, and was blessed by friends and even strangers who helped to make that happen. There's so many parents who cannot afford to take the time off work. We should always rally around those families to help them in their season of need.

Ronald McDonald house was my home for almost 2 years when my preemie boy was born at 23 weeks gestation. Thank you Ronald McDonald house, without your help, I would have had to spend all that time in a hotel. Ronald McDonalds house are they very best!

As a Hope Air volunteer private pilot, I have had the privilege of seeing the generous support that WestJet offers Canadians in need. Beyond being a superb airline, WestJet a great asset to Canadians in so many ways, particularly in their charitable support. Too few Canadian corporations distinguish themselves by such noble acts.
I love the RMH program... They have been a blessing to my family and so many others. My daughter is in Orlando and I live over 40 miles away. They have let my husband and I stay there to visit her everyday. They made us breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. First day was grilled hamburgers & hotdogs with all the good stuff. The second day we had the Orlando Magic team make us lunch. Third day MCDonalds sent over breakfast (all you can eat) and the clown too. LOL the babies there loved him. They don't ask for anything (except visit the child everyday, keep your room clean, no drugs, no drama, etc). Been saving up can tops and a little bit of $money here and there to give to them when we leave.
Usman Rajput I understand how you feel. I'd wish for no one to go through the same experiences that you went through. People are sometimes so cruel. I'm sorry that you had a terrible time and lost your dad at an early age. Just remember, not all people are cruel and thoughtless. There are nice people out there too. Unfortunately, other people have prioritized making money over nurture. It sucks!
