This game using the counterbeats instead of the main ones tripped me up SO MUCH, because it was the only one that did that. I still have no idea how I scraped through on Hard Rock.
Love how if you fail but complete the song, he brings back the wrong plans. XD Bless him! Fail 1: He can't pull the sheet over his body as it's too small and gets chased. Fail 2: He slices the door but accidently shreds his own clothes Fail 3: He attempts to multiply but just ends up making himself dizzy
I've only learned recently that the singer for this one and the first song in the game is Jason Paige, who also sung the first Pokémon Intro. He also told me (At this weekend's con) he also sung in 'You're my Inspiration' but I cannot find anything about that.
I didn't understand what the comments about "counterbeat" meant until I actually watched this. Oh my goodness, anyone who managed this song on this difficulty is amazing.
Surprisingly, this is the only song I got a perfect on and it was on like my 3rd time playing it, every other one barely scraped by with a low A or high B after many tries at getting a high score.
My favorite part is how half of the notes in this song are off beat. Makes this song a real joy to play. Definitely not terrible design for a rhythm game at all
That resembles REAL dancing. It's the off beat steps that make dancing so fun even if just tapping buttons. XD Reminds me of the difference between DDR (arcade style dancing) and pump it up (mimics real dancing) with the arrows.
You gotta memorize the step chart. It's a bit easier to do on Chieftian difficulty cause it's the same chart but a little more lenient. Elite Beat Divas is like "You miss one note and you fail"
Some songs jump from the beat, to the counter beat and the syllables of the lyrics, so it can indeed be pretty challenging if you aren't prepared for the transition between the 3.
I always loved how the dogs bark to the beat of the song
Yes and Napoleon Dynamite
I BEAT THIS GAME AS A KID ON EVERY DIFFICULTY AND NEVER NOTICED THAT. WTF.
🎶BA-BARK, BARK, BARK!🎶
Sad this game never got a sequel for the 3ds
I would love to see a new Elite beat agents
Same here
That would be so active
At least the 3ds has backwards compatibility
It has a series in japan! With themes like ouendan and chrerleader
@@Psicokass that series hasn't had any updates since 2007 and it spawned a free fan made game with the ability to create charts.

Strangely enough this is the game that introduced me to Jamiroquai even though it's a cover of that song
Ditto ^^
This is actually covered by Jason Paige, the singer of Pokemon's english theme song. He also did Walkie Talkie Man.

For me,this is the most dificult song, before jumping jack flash
LloniStriker This and Let's Dance tied for me as the most difficult before that song because of the odd timing and patterns.
+CTKaraoke2 Same
the baseball one and the final stage
That and ABC song

Napoleon Dynamite Bought it Him Here

The guy who originally sung the Pokémon theme song doing a cover of canned heat is something I didn’t think I’d ever hear…
*vote for pedro*

if you’re struggling with this level use headphones. the beats just made more sense then
I remember this part. This one was the most difficult
We need a remake of this on a console with a better speaker not to say the dsi speakers are bad but thier are much better speakers on newer portables.
how can people do this, this is like almost impossible of the fast rhythm
lol

This whole game was super easy! Yet super addictive and fun I wish they made a 2nd....
Canned Heat should be a Stand.
2006 never felt so long ago
3 more years and this game will be 20 years old O.o
Seriously, what's with the inconsistent rhythm? Was the mapper deaf or something?
Also remember that each button he doesnt get perfect on it will be slightly early or delayed
Thanks Jamiroquai
