Its better to create 4 perfect player in each position such as GK, CB, CM and ST. And create all of them at lesser known nationality and see if all of them will bring their country to win the world cup. It will be interesting to see if big club able to scout them since they will start at unknown club.. rather than make them english and lower english league clubs..
@@TomFM Though you may want to tweak the atributes to fit certain positions. An ST with good heading that is tall will likely get used as a CB. Like why not? He´s perfect for it. Maybe cap contrary atributes at 10. Like CB gets 10 at finishing, ST 10 at marking. Also make GK, CB, WB, CDM, CM, CAM, W, AF, perhaps.
I would be interested in an "imperfect player" video. Create a player with 20s in the visible attributes but who stinks in the invisibles (20 controversy, 1 professionalism, 1 pressure, etc - although perhaps leave injury proneness at 1 so they do get on the pitch) and see how this flawed professional works out compared with the perfects..
It doesn't matter how low you make the loyalty a perfect player will always have less transfers. Most of is due to the monsterous valuations this guy will get. No club will be able to get a bid in that range. And his current club will always renew his contract if they are financially capable. If you want to try this with more transfers make some current great managers his idols. Or some clubs his favorite. This way he will try to force a move if a favorite club is interested or the manager is his idol.
Which will invariably be PSG who scoop up every max CA player in the database and once a player has been paid PSG wages they won't leave until PSG release them in their 30s.
Video idea: create a free agent English 14-year-old player with 1 CA, 200 PA and Model Citizen personality (the hidden attributes leading to a Model Citizen personality aren't hard to find on the internet) and observe their career. Doing this with a few other similar players (not necessarily English though) and see where they'll end up might be interesting to watch.
@@TomFM I've done this and i suggest letting the players start from minimum of 40-50 ca. 1 is (naturally) a low point and its not like you progress faster when its that low. There is a change the player will never reach a point where he is good enough as a youth player - which halts his development even more.
I like the idea of a solid San Marino (back 4 and GK all 20s) versus an attacking Andorra (front 5 all 20s) with the winner being first to qualify for or win an international competition. Puts to the test whether the game engine prefers attack or defense
The outcomes with PP1 staying at PSG most of his career and PP2 having 20 more England caps isn't surprising at all, PP2 started at City and would have been getting England caps since day one, whereas PP1 started at Curzon so wouldn't have even been considered for England duty until his time at LA Galaxy and likely wouldn't have been called up until he signed for PSG. PP1 won't have left PSG but it won't be anything to do with his loyalty, it'll be because PSG are a broken mess on FM, they'll have offered him way more money than anyone else could reasonably afford. That's my theory anyway! Great content though, love seeing these experiment videos, like making this player brilliant, locking top players to crap teams and giving naff leagues Billion pound TV Deals etc.
The reason player 2 didn’t play as many matches for England is probably due to him playing 2 years in the national league. The competition level wasn’t high enough to warrant a call up until he went to LA
Episode idea: make like 5 perfect players but from super weak countries like New Caledonia, Djibuti, San Marino, Tajikistan, Surinam and see if they can help their nations achieve international success. Personally I usually avoid playing footballers from top tier countries just to make game harder and more interesting
Surinam potentially has a World Cup qualifying squad, but a lot of the top players choose to play for the Netherlands. They could put a very good starting XI considering they only have 600K residents.
you could try a whole team of perfect players with incredibly long or permanent contracts to say boston to see how they do climbing the leagues and see how longs it takes to win the champions league?
Hey Tom, I know that a Guy created a "Legends database" for FM 16 with all the best players for every team. I think It should be intetesting to see a simulation here 😃
the gap in caps is due to reputation whilst the player was at the bottom he wouldn't get called up but the mancity player would have been called up from yr 1 most likely
Every time you do one of these the player always ends up at PSG, next time could you add PSG to his disliked club section. Will probably mean he won’t go there and possibly may see him move around.
Perhaps it could be interesting to see how much impact personalities have in the game. I remember a VERY old experiment (like, over 10 years ago) where someone made two teams. One with wonderkids with 20 in every stat, and another that has 20 in almost all stats but everything else was set so they'd have negative personalities.
I think it's better if you simulate 3 or 4 years and then stop, and show us what happened and then simulate again. When u sim 20 years at once, it kills the suspense
Both MLS seasons he was sold at the midway point. Season 1 he was brought in at the half, Season 2 he was sent out. Thats why he had fewer games and goals.
Thats not how loyalty works in fm... Loyalty is also how supportive the player is towards his manager and teammates or if he just minds his own business. It also reflects in wages, as a loyal player, wont ask for "too much" and become a burden, where low loyalty isnt as "considderate". This test is flawed in way to many ways, if the goal was to learn something from it. Do it again, but if following adjustments: 1. Dont freeze anything. If anything, get fmrte, "freeze" only injuries to prevent them, but allow for natural changes 2. Give them a few brothers. 3. Let all of them start at lower league clubs and see how "loyal" they true are. Also an idea: Same ideá with perfect players - but from San Marino. 22 players (2 for each position) and see how much changes over 20 years.
I think it's less to do with an early domination by Man City but rather with the fact that at the beginning player 1 was stuck at Curzon Ashton or LA Galaxy
Yeah man def do some stuff with San Marino, and/or the absolutely lowest rated national teams. Wanna see the face off in 2094 Liechtenstein vs Cook Islands
Wouldnt the reason the perfect player 1 played less games for england be the fact he played a season in non league and 2 years in America before making it to the big leagues?
Kinda wish you did it the other way round. Give the NL player the 20 loyalty. See if he stays there. And have the PL player have the 1 loyalty and see where he goes. Either way, the 1 loyalty guy would do the same thing. But having the 20 loyalty kid with the lessar club would be more interesting.
Try a test with perfect identical players in the top 10 leagues, locked to a contract for 20 years. Simulation will probably take a week with that many leagues loaded though....
the epl is richer so probably had better teams so the psg player did better in his leagues and cups than man city in england, psg signs great players so its not because of the team quality, the reason for less england caps is he was at a smaller club at the start and didnt get called up as early id guess
Make a perfect GK, CB, CM and ST for the Cayman Islands and try to get them to a World Cup, would be interesting with a population of ~60,000, a British Overseas Territory and my home country Would love to see how far they go!
If you will try some similar video, you can make players brothers in editor. I wonder if this can influence player starting in lower league chosing next club, also you can add trait for them that they hate PSG so we wont have boring choises (maybe you can try even City)
I'm planning to buy fm, but I have a question, how is this done?, i mean, just simulating seasons, I think it's a funny just to see what the console does
so I THINK the way ballon d'or works in FM is it's MAINLY by average rating (this also I THINK changes between which FM you are playing on) and the PSG player because he is playing in a weaker league (but still a VERY reputable one with a good level of competition which I THINK matters) he should get a higher average rating. Also then theoretically if you go deeper in the champions league you play against harder opponents and if you play against harder opponents on average your average rating would go down. I have NO idea how 2036 ballon d'or went that way tho I'm sure someone out there knows exactly how it works but all I know is guesses based on how it feels for me
TomFM: Let's see how many times did Man City and PSG win the Champions League!" Meanwhile, Real Madrid increasing their lead atop the UCL winners list with 7 wins starting with the 22-23 season. Hala Madrid!
Ballon D'or, as any other award where voting is involved, will always be a marketing tool. In any case what a team wins is completely related to player's individual performance. Benzema and Courtois had the best performance of their careers, won the and la liga. Salah, Mané and VVD are still top players, almost won a quadruple and Mané won the AFCON. Messi winning last year was so embarrassing that they had to change the rules.
You probably answered this somewhere but I couldn't find it. Anyways, how do you go on about simulating through so many seasons? I've seen you where you've simmed 100 years into the future but never figured out HOW without waiting an eternity lol.

See where they end up an if they can hit the 200 potential ability! I like it!

This is literally the FM content i want to see. Way too little FM RUclipsrs do silly experiments to see what happens. Keep it up Tom!

Wouldn't you have to add the leagues as playable leagues?
In the experiment, PSG lost the finals of the UCL to Man City on three occasions.
you could try a whole team of perfect players with incredibly long or permanent contracts to say boston to see how they do climbing the leagues and see how longs it takes to win the champions league?
This is why Ronaldo and Messi win the Ballondor every year
Seen many experiment with player end up at PSG/City due to nearly unlimited budget, but what if you set PSG/City is club they dislike? Does it change?
Random fact, i live around the corner from Curzon Ashtons ground 😂 there's a statue of Geoff Hurst, Jimmy Armfield and Simone Perrotta outside
Quite interesting (and surprising) that the low loyalty player stayed at Curzon Ashton for 2 seasons right at the start of his career.
Surprised he didn't want to get out of there straight away!
@@TomFM nobody scouted him maybe?
You habe to check the World Cup performance in 2034. World Cup results weight more for Ballon d'or
Hey Tom, I know that a Guy created a "Legends database" for FM 16 with all the best players for every team. I think It should be intetesting to see a simulation here 😃
Not sure if it could be related but Ballon D’or is a French award so could be why player 1 won so much
Would be really cool to see if you made these two players have lower starting stats to see how different they develop.
Work The Space did it 5 or 6 years ago, look it up it's really interesting
That one PSG legend : dont ever question my loyalty mate!
Maybe try the exact same experiment, but make the non-league player with 20 loyalty instead, to see if he stays there longer to help his boyhood club
Perect twins seperated at birth. One in Vanarama North, one in south see if you can lock them into their club and see how drags their team higher?
the gap in caps is due to reputation whilst the player was at the bottom he wouldn't get called up but the mancity player would have been called up from yr 1 most likely
Dijon being in the champions league final is so surreal, I love it !
20/20 Dirtiness lmao little luis suraez's running around
I think we all know why the PSG player won more Balon d’ors. France football corruption in FM makes it even more realistic😂

American clubs have low reputation, true, but they also have giant wads of cash.
2:17 tfw you break Shearer's all-time Premier League goals record... from midfield 😳🤯

you should do an experiment on how the money from a player(or academy full of) with huge potential helps a club in the national league
Would love to see you try this again with the loyalty but just make the player bang average with a poor attitude and see how many clubs he ends up at
You're content is on fire lately Tom keep it up 💪💪🔥🔥

Curzon ashton is my local team so big up

can you do a brighton rebuild video anytime soon? love the content keep it up❤
Super Lampard and super Gerrard literally.
Im doing a Curzon Ashton save rn...32/33 and i won the ucl last season
Have not watched yet but i'll jarbour a guess that the man city player will only move if it is a free transfer

Pure league difficulty, thats the reason. It's obviously easier to get higher ratings vs french than english teams.
curzon ashton is around the corner to me

Hey Tom, quick question how do you simulate 10/20/30 years in fm?
Judy go on holiday and set the date
Lets goo, i was waiting for this video
Great idea!
He will have played less for england because he was in the national league most likely
Interesting, what happened if a player like this had the worst personality attributes also set to max
Wouldn’t call city a giant club like
Would making them each other's favourite person make a difference? And favorite clubs too?
Great experiment
Thank you 🤗
Psg bought most of the Balon d'or😂
Perfect Player 1 won more Balon d’ors because he was in France🤣🤣
Forget perfect player 1 and 2, let’s talk about Newcastle winning the premier league 😂
Could you do a pre game editor tutorial please
Which logo pack do you use?
No one noticed Newcastle winning the champions league? 😂
What PC do you play on?
But you locked stats which kills this experiment.
Fewer international caps because they didn't want to call up a non-league player?
Ahh, even if given the literal best player possible, PSG still cant win the champions league.
The world is as it should.
So perfect player 1 means Mbappe will never leave PSG? 😭
You probably answered this somewhere but I couldn't find it.
Anyways, how do you go on about simulating through so many seasons? I've seen you where you've simmed 100 years into the future but never figured out HOW without waiting an eternity lol.
You answered your own question
San Marino please
How do you make players
Make a nation of perfect plays at like Latvia and see if they win the world cup
Like a full 11 players in each position
pig runners up 6 times and lost four of them to Man City.
City aren’t a big club, they were bought to win trophies ffs
Man City ain't a giant club
Get your facts right
PSG aren’t a big team either
