    Anatomy of You
    by: Veronica Suarez
I want to be the moccasins
resting on the creatures of your feet.
I want to be your breathing
gracing the encasement of your lungs.
I want to be your clavicle
gliding on a wire near your Adam’s apple.
I want to be your womb
swarming in the fetus of your past.
I want to be your toothpaste
swishing the enamel of your teeth.
I want to be your laughter
gurgling at the precipice of your soul.
I want to be your T-shirt
skinning the xylophone of your ribs.
I want to be the dream
    you never abandon.

Thank you so much Veronica. I think this poem expresses the desire to be absorbed by someone we love in a very powerful way.

Thank you for listening, Lillian. That's the feeling I was going for and a really great description of the poem. :) - Veronica
