I live in upstate NY and we’ve had snow in October before the leaves came off the trees a few times. We also get big storms in November every once in a while too before Thanksgiving.
Yes the October storm was crazy!
More of that “global warming”😂

I live in NWPA and almost every year we wake up to snow covered vehicles around mid October. Last year was October 18th. I'm surprised we haven't had any yet. Back in 1997, we got over 2 feet of heavy wet snow. I remember that because I was a senior in high school and we played football the day after it snowed that much. Not too uncommon to see the snowstorms in October.
Quit bragging. I'm down here in Ohio and haven't used my Nordic skis in 4 years.
I'm looking forward to 75° tomorrow 😎 I'm winterizing my house while the weather here in Michigan is good.
Easton Rapids in da house!!!
SPARTANS !!! PREPARE FOR GLORY!!!
It's going to be 71 degrees in Boston this Wednesday and 77 degrees on Saturday
Let’s not brag, we already know how New England is. It can be 76 on 1 day and the next day 40 degrees. Enjoy it because we’re getting snow earlier than usual this year. I heard JAN and February will be a mess.
Good , thats money coming from the sky 😅
I lived in Fairbanks Alaska for 30 years and it always snows in October . The snow is there to stay till April .
Watched this from South Carolina's hilly region. Our heater first started around 10 October but not consistently running the heater. The last heater use is likely mid April. If we, this far south, are cold for so long, they I shudder, pun intended, about Fairbanks!
Yep snow on donelly dome then two weeks to stay.

I knew I shouldn't have left my truck idling while I picked the kids up at practice. This one's on me guys. My bad.
😂😂 shame on you!!
😂 🤣
🙄 So you hail from Canada?
I was wondering why all of Florida was underwater now!
😂😂😅😂😂
I remember taking my kids trick or treating in the snow when I lived in Great Falls
I live here in Great Falls, seems to be cold & snowy every Halloween. Poor kids have to cover their costumes with heavy winter coats. We are under a winter weather watch right now. High forecast for Thursday is 18°! 🥶🥶🥶
And I'm not going to see anything. 😂😂😂😂 nice and warm in Tampa Fl..,.
Here in N. Eastern Wisconsin weve had lots of snow in Oct some years and some years no snow till mid Jan! I call it "weather"!
It's crazy that there are droughts in the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and it was known for the rain. We complained about it all the time. And now there's droughts.
Nah, this is normal weather in PNW and Canada. Lol.
Are we talking about Canada?
Let it snow ❄️ let it snow ❄️let it snow ❄️ in Beautiful Colorado 😍!
I live near Denver , Colorado. For shure our mountains will gett sno, ski season is coming on Thanskiving. Getting ready for winter, but still is beautiful and warm.
It’s 22°
Hooray end the drought.
How many different reporters/meteorologists do they need reporting about the weather there lol. I was waiting for a 4th one to pop on at the end 😂
You mean it gets colder in north first??? No way! Wow, you guys are so good at news.
Looks like might have wear shoes soon, Tennessee.
You act like this isnt normal its very normal
Not this early in the year, this storm usually happens in late November/early December
Who’s the marketing genius that selected Amy Freeze to give the first Winter Storm Warning this season?
How drunk was she?!?! I’m fine with drunks reading the news, but they need to be able to say WORDS. Jeezus.
it aint even halloween. sometimes weather is so impatient lmao
Hood River Oregon here. 😮 I'm not really ready... better get moving!
Oh my, snow is coming, oh my, has this ever happened before
The sky is falling right, oh my, oh my
Winter Wonderland, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

I wish I live in south florida 😂😂😂😂
@@lunistylz8260 I hope i can.. ..
I live in Houston Texas. It’s still hot in October.😅
Drought striken PNW?? It's been raining for a month. Every year forever the PNW has a summer break from the 60+ inches we get every year. Slow news day?
Well…not much in Spokane, dry here.
Wow, they're making a big deal of this. Lived in the NW for 40+ yrs, sometimes it comes early. smh
Fur real lol. Live in Olympia and they talk about record levels every single year 😂😂
It is to attract eyeballs. Viewers=money from advertisers. I have been a journalist a very long time, but a pivotal day was when Vice President George Bush Sr. took some of us newsies aside and told us that things were going to change, it would not be the way it had been. And they did. News changed from kind of a holy, responsible pursuit to something under marketing to attract attention. That equaled more $$$. And there went responsible journalism for any organization more dedicated to truth than money.
@@savvyforcrypto4408 Lol, this BIG first storm - total flop.
@@johnh3476 we got a foot of snow here in Denver Colorado where do you live and also it is rare to get a foot of snow in late October only a mile above sea level
@@Andrew.Aravis NE WA, about 50 minutes south of Trail BC. They were predicting 1" - 3" in the valleys, it rained, maybe 4" in higher elevations. Usually hits hard late Dec and Jan.
COME ON MAN wow a whole 7 inches in alaska and its called a blizzard are you kidding how about the right weather here instead of freaking out its called WEATHER CHANGE OR PATTERN instead of OMG CLIMATE CHANGE
You could get an inch of snow and call lizard if you got an inch of snow, and the winds were really high and you couldn’t see in front of you that’s called a blizzard a blizzard doesn’t always apply to being so much snow
No…. I’m not ready for this 😱
The weather is even unusually cold in some southern States. 🥶
And I would say here in Powder River County that it was close to a bull's-eye. (Center was points west at twice the hammering. Gah!)
It's good to have a nice snow storm once in a while. It keeps these political activists nuts at home!!
😂😂😂👏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼
😩😂😭😭
I like it when it's so cold that politicians have their hands in their own pockets.
😅
I really hate this season with a passion. There's no logical reason for this season. It's too earlier for this BS frfr
You do realize that you can learn to read at any time? 🙉🙈🙊
It's called Fall. Next comes Winter. 🤣
They keep bullshitting about this global warming. It would be welcomed.
@@lunistylz8260 it's called sarcasm, learn to take a joke. In the meantime I did an internet search for you. Calm down Karen.
What is considered fall and winter?
Winter is considered December, January and February; spring is March through May; summer is June through August; and fall or autumn is September through November.
@@lunistylz8260 😂 🤣 👌🏽
It’s about time

Can you tell us about all MAN MA-DE CLO-UDS all the time in the sky ? intentionally provoking rain and drought?

I live in coastal Washington where it seldom snows.
If it does it's usually gone by morning or the next day.
I love it, I can wear shorts year around.

Winter's first storm ----Let's see, October 23rd.. --Surprise --- Surprise!!!!!!! Dog bites man?!?!?
It is a fall storm. It is not winter yet
@@lunistylz8260
NOPE, Winter starts Dec 21 in northern hemisphere. Winter LIKE weather can occur in the spring and summer. I have built a snowman in June in Colorado. It was not winter, it was summer.
@@lunistylz8260 weather does not determine the season. The season does not determine the weather in a micro-scale. The tilt in the axis of the earth and distance from the sun determines the season. The flow of the jet stream and ocean temps determine the weather.
I know what you are saying and I was actually being a bit cheeky about the reference to a " winter" storm. It is a winter-like storm. However, for my comment to be cheeky, one must have the knowledge of when and how seasons come about. Weather is very subjective and cannot be predicted in a confident manner to delineate the seasons. The tilt of the Earth and its orbit around the sun is very reliable and man, since man has been on earth, has used the position of the sun, planets and constellations to draw a line between the seasons.
It doesn't really matter however and you can call it winter if you like. I just get the feeling that it matters to you, and if it does, winter comes Dec. 21, around 4pmish. Stay warm, summer might be back in a couple weeks!
Need a new weather person.
And these people said global warming was real.
Assuming that you're serious, the Northern Rockies and Plains are not a significant fraction of the globe.
