We just did this on our last day the passages that you showed amd we really enjoyed it. We found new neighborhoods and landmarks in the process . Beautiful It was a glorious sunny day. Thank you for the video
Even though my French is at best marginal, every Paris bookstore is a treasure. The smell. The stacks towering above you. The feel of every page turned. Yes, a treasure. 🇫🇷
You should have far more views and subscribers. You do an excellent job of sharing Paris with the rest of the world. I wish I had known about these passages when I visited this unique city. I also love your videos on Parisian food.
When I arrive in Paris ( Paris Nord), I walk always to Galerie Verdeau, (15 min) then like you did, Jouffroy, Panorama, Vivienne, at Vivienne I take Passage les 2 pavillon and enter Palais Royal. Every time I have some fellow travellers along, they are already impressed

We love your videos! We are coming to Paris for 5 weeks, and you are helping us find the best spots! ❤ We also dig your camera in this video. What camera are you using? Do you mind sharing? Thanks for all of your great content.❤
Hello and thank you for another wonderful video! It's just wonderful to watch these! I feel like I am really there. I saw you filmed a lot of wonderful stores that I would love to look in. There is a lot of wonderful shopping in Paris! You can find pretty much anything you want! Thanks so much for filming these. It is so enjoyable to watch them! I subscribed!
Ha ha, just came back from Paris today six days of pure rain between our visit to Paris and Tours. We did not know about these passages! We had a fabulous time nonetheless and hope to be back soon.
I thought the hotel Chopin had closed in the Joffrey Passage. So wonderful to see it there. Too bad I already booked my Airbnb but I have an idea that Hotel is booked for a year ahead. Great video. Aloha
@@paristoptips Ha they changed place? I thought they were behind Pere Lachaise. So this is out of my walking direction, so never got to it. But Rue des Martyrs is possible, definitely going to do it. A disappointment is Pizza Libertino, more name and instagrammers than it's worth.
In fact they now have 3 restaurants in Paris and one in Boulogne. Libertino, as all the other restaurants of the Big Mamma group, is all about marketing and hype!
Thank you for this video! I am heading to Paris this summer in August between 12-17th is there a day in the weeks when most of the shops in the passages are open, or are you then filming at a time when they are closed so it is quieter? I would like the opportunity to browse inside the shops.
I wish you had given more information equally. Arrondissement, addresses, and types of shops in each would have made a more complete and informative post. As it is, l now have to look each up on Google from what little l noted down.😊

Yes I like window-shopping at these passages especially on rainy days ❤
Nice thing to do indeed when the weather is bad
Your choice of music is perfect for this video.
Thank you! I always take a lot of time choosing the right music!
Wow beautiful video of Paris thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!🙏

Awesome! Thank you!
Hope you have some good time in Paris...
Bonjour. Je suis parisienne expat et je reviens. Je ne connaissais pas tous ces passages. Merci beaucoup.

I'm using a DJI Pocket 3
Lovely covered passages! I like it to see all of them & buy some French goodies.
If you have time, maybe you can try a restaurant in one. I would suggest Le Bistrot Verdeau in Passage Verdeau 🙂
WOW You have introduced me to a part of PARIS that I did not know! MERCI BIEN! ♥
With great pleasure 🙏🙏👍
Bonjour Monsieur. Merci for another informative video of Paris. These are now on our list of places to shop. 💙🤍❤️ Bonus 😉
Thanks Ron!🙏
Many places for you to visit...
Excellent video shooting 👍

Yes, in these Passages, you can feel the pulse of Paris, without the crowds you have in more touristic places!
❤
Thanks 🙏

Yes, Paris weather in the winter can be pretty dull and wet.But that gives you a different view on the city, also nice to have...

Good 2-star hotel in a beautiful passage!🙂
Pizzeria Daroco at 15:15 in Galerie vivienne, my favorite one in Paris.
Try Peppe Pizzeria on rue des martyrs if you can !

Sunday and Monday are the days when shops can be closed.
I usually shoot early in the morning, that's why some of the shops were closed...
@@paristoptips thanks for your answer, is this true for all shops in Paris or only those in Passages?
@@lisadiver5253 Yes, a lot of shops will be closed on Sundays or Mondays, if not both.
@@paristoptips thank you that is good to know!
We plan to visit some of these in 2025. If doing a similar video, a map at some point would help.

"Le pas sage": "Le pas" means "the step", so "Le pas sage" means "The wise step"
That could be one translation, yes. But for most French people, the first understanding would be the one I mentioned in the video. 😄
I wish you had given more information equally. Arrondissement, addresses, and types of shops in each would have made a more complete and informative post. As it is, l now have to look each up on Google from what little l noted down.😊
I get your point, and I kinda agree with you.
But my video was already 34 minutes long, so I had to make choices...
