David Sedaris, It is great to watch you speak.
David Sedaris is a national treasure, too bad he had to leave the US to live a happy life
Love David Sedaris!!!
""Best way to have public condemnation is swiftly and ignorantly" - Voltaire" - Ari Melber
Well I don't know really know a lot about electricity :p
I love Ari's laid- back but incisive style as an interviewer and it's particularly effective with a quirky subject like David Sedaris.
It takes a lot of confidence to kibbitz
Ari was very good at sparring with David and keeping his guest cooking. He nailed me with that fake Voltaire quote and I think he got Sedaris too, which can't be easy.
Sedaris is such a treasure of humanity and hurt-yourself-laughing comic gold that it was interesting to see he also gets politics.
He is a perfect salve for these grating times.
David Sedaris is a national treasure. I need his take on this cultural/political era to maintain my sanity.
I like this guy, I'd love to meet him some day
I adore David Sedaris! 💗 Intelligent, and so very funny!!
'Undecided voter' is a narrow category within the broader scope of 'Indecisive human'.
This is a great segment Ari. Thank you. I love his writing
This guy is hilarious I love the interview!
Great interview, Ari, and great interviewee!
After seeing the amazing job Joe Biden and the Democratic Party is doing I finally have a new hope for America and just don’t see how anyone can support republicans after seeing Biden’s performance he is truly inspirational.
Biden has a ways to go before I would say all that, but I do think he has things headed in the right direction. ✌️
But is he going to be healthy enough to run again? I hope so. Desantis is just a smarter tr***. Scary.
I was Republican leaning, but voted for Hillary and Joe. Some of Joe's policies surprised in not a great way, but Joe at his very worst is far and away better than djt, even IF he attempted to do anything that wasn't completely destructive and totally toxic.

Whenever I see a David Sedaris's book, I just have to pick it up! His writing is unbelievably funny, real & relatable.
Those "undecided" voters were just too embarrassed to publicly admit and defend their decision to back trump considering everything leading up to the 2020 elections.
My two favorite people in the world, David Sedaris and Ari, together❤️❤️
I was hoping David would leave out the " for Hilary Clinton " when he offered to pay the taxi driver to vote. I was like," David, Shhhh!!! They can't know that part!"
The decision to vote for trump was an insane action but he was on a very popular TV program and that was enough for millions of Americans to think. 'Yeah that wd be a laugh if donald was voted president? Why not?". America has turned into an idiocracy. Plus the appeal of degenerate behaviour. And its been a nightmare.
Winnie the Pooh...that's his voice. I love Pooh.
Piglet voice too
Thank you, Ari. Genuine people, both of you.
When you’re that Real even reality can seem mundane 😁
at thid time in America, there are no more undecided, either they are for Trump, or anti Trump
Thanks so much for posting.
He hit the nail on the head. They are just looking for attention. Not being able to decide between Trump and Hillary Clinton OR Trump and Biden shows total ignorance or disinterest.
WOO to the HOO!! David Sedaris and THE CARNIVAL OF SNACKERY. I can't wait!!!! I finally have something to look forward to this Fall.
Agreed. I asked the same thing. WTF are you undecided about?! To be an undecided voter is the mark of privilege. It means they can afford to not be worried about race issues, money issues, voting rights, police reform or any kind of equality or quality of life type issue because it won’t affect them… or at least they think it won’t.
Great interview! Melber was able to show off his ability to think fast and charmingly on his feet. And I love the twinkle in Sedaris's eye when he thinks something is funny.
He is a wonderful man and writer ...so real and ful of joy.
Oh, hey! I love David Sedaris!🥰🌹
Exactly how I feel about "undecided" voters every election.
David - you funny guy. 👍❤️
Aw no Mr. Sedaris, you *do* sound just like Piglet. 🙂
That was maybe, one of the more interesting interviews I've ever seen. The guy seemed honest. It was pleasant to see someone not appear to be acting just being there faulted self. Mad respect🙂
You have a quick wit, Ari, making for an enjoyable few minutes.
Yay!!!! David Sedaris!!!!
Trump told us all the stupid things he was going to do and we got to watch and still think Hillary could have been worse starting wars
Love both of these guys. Great interview!
Just a note: "eschew" is pronounced "es-CHOO". Sort of like sneezing.
Julia: Bless you for saying that!
Thank you! That drives me nuts.
Was thinking exactly the same. I'm guessing he knows the correct pronunciation, and just mixed it up with "askew", as in awry...
YAYAYAYY!!! David Sedaris!
