Watching Stephen deny all his natural host impulses out of respect for Amy is both hilarious and heartwarming

The emotion in Stephen's face at the end after Amy says 'Stephen Colbert, everybody' and he extends her hand out for her , warms my heart. ❤️ What a beautiful friendship!

Amy is a dazzling jewel. Such a true blue soul. My hope is that money or Hollywood never changes her though I can't imagine it ever could. So nice to have her show up once in a while in these awful scary times.
I agree with you about Amy however this interview was done 6 months before the pandemic began. I'm sure she's even funnier now!

Amy Sedaris is the comedic actor for comedic actors.
This was just delightful to watch, like every time he's in the same room with John Stewart and there's a camera on, you can see the history of mutual respect and friendship all over them.
Ever see certain people and wonder what it would be like to just watch them hanging out casually? This is it. Love what you do Mr. Colbert.

The band playing while Stephen imitated the muffled horns really emphasized the immersion.
And he does an awfully good muffled horn.

when you have a friendship like Stephen and Amy's you know you have a friend for life who knows you better than you know yourself. You will grow old together laughing along the way.

But one my favorite things about Amy is she has a habit of popping up out of nowhere in really great stuff (Bojack Horseman, Kimmy Schmidt, Broad City, Horace and Pete) and it's always a hilariously good time.

tried to watch it but couldn't , just not my cup of teeth.
My wife and I loved that show.
So true. So underrated.
It was brilliantly written and performed but there is definitely some racial “humor” in that show that would not make it past network censors in 2019.
