I watched you from your Fear and Hunger challenge runs, and then your Darkest Dungeon streams, so when I saw you play Limbus I joined in the stream, and because of you I knew what my friends were talking about later! I’m now onto Canto 4 and am making a bleed/burn team while trying to level my team enough to move through the canto and beyond!

Ah but bleed can also be very powerful if you have pointilist Yi Sang he is very powerful Id for bleed team, and cheaper too if you wants to build them, burn in other hand, two Id that be being key and powerhouse for the team being limited, in sorts you can only get them by events. I'm sadly expecting nerfs, it was a fight where you have to block and win clashes against the weak skills to gain sp so you can clash the stronger ones, but we know what happens the moment a boss expects you to use a defensive skill (Pre-nerf Distorted Heathcliff)
It's not even that hard her stagger thing is pretty high up she is also so slow so I just burst her down before she uses the conditional mass attack skill
That Barber Fight, Oh boy. I struggled on them. Only time in this game I was happy for the chain battle system. I had to build a team AROUND the fact that I could sub in units after some died. I will say this: Lantern Don Quiote's Healing attacks is goated.
There's a very highly rated guide on Steam that basically says that non-basic identities are not worth it and countering doesn't work. Yet I see Frapollo using those identities and the chat telling him to counter. This is all quite confusing. Frap, did you ever consider doing a Limbus guide video? Or do you recommend any?
???? Of course you shouldnt use the basic LCB sinners if you have a better one, they are so much worse than the new units in every way. The reason they were telling him to counter is because wild hunt heathcliff specifically has a condition where he needs to counter to satisfy and get on his horse which makes his damage much higher. I recommend ESGOO's limbus battle tutorial, he does good guides on every team archetype too. I looked at the steam guides and I couldn't find one which says to only use the basic units and the one I found: "Beginner's Manual for Newly highered managers" is extremely thorough, up to date, and goes over everything.

While you could clear the game with base IDs its a lot harder to do that. Other than that resources are not worth spending on EGO yet at all. I'm a relatively new player who just started a month and a half ago and I still haven't uptiered any of my non base egos to 3 yet I'm already at the latest content. I definitely recommend using your threads for your IDs first before investing into EGOs as they are much more situational. Also I'm just reading snippets of the guide now and it recommends buying EGO attacks and not IDs?? Please don't buy EGO if you don't have a good ID for that character. There's no point in getting a good ego if the character isn't gonna be able to survive long enough to use or be able to proc its conditions. Granted I'm only a new player so take all this with grain of salt but it's my experience so far. you should defenitely invest in a burn team since in one canto, bleed is going to feed the enemy and make them more powerful
