Two days ago I went Christmas shopping at Marshall's for starters. I got my aunt-- who hates clutter and chachkies- a set of reusable dish cloths and matching dish towels and pot holders. They are by Kitchen Aid so they're a nice quality. Then I went to TJM and found the matching drying mats. Topped it off with a Christmas dish soap. I will see her November 19th so she'll have time to use it. It's a cute Gingerbread pattern. I found a 4-pack of liquid soaps in beautiful Christmas scenes. I got several more bundles of dish towels and matched them up with the soaps. One towel per soap. One for my granddaughter's bus driver, bus aid and two teachers. I will send them in on the Monday after Thanksgiving so they too will have time to use them. I also got 4 spoon rests from QVC that look like cute plates. I am definitely "stealing" your idea of including a spoon as a hint 😉
