I've been keeping an eye on the MWS for a while and now that this is available for like half the price, it's really tempting, however I also saw the Cyma n4's and i'm wondering how do they compare to the DE?
i have EMG version and to start the bolt is proprietary and so is the trigger box and the hop up will not close all the way with a mws maple leaf bucking, leaving you having replace the trigger box, entire bolt carrier and hop because of it being t8 unfortunately, sad that they made this gun with the intentions that people were gonna take out all the t8 stuff and replace it basically by force to mws spec parts because thats what i have to do now
@@Saboter Based on my experience and someone i know over the local Discord, we can agree on the gas efficiency. As to what causes it, someone with the DE N4 as well told me it's probably the gas router. There's also the weak follower spring (probably in my case only), and the inconsistent hop up on heavier bbs. Overall, nothing too serious and something aftermarket parts can fix.
Do you know if they are using the same or similar strength nozzle return spring as the stock MWS? Also if you were to upgrade or change any of the internals what would you be changing first? Thanks

Well cyma emg you mean. Yes it's t8 and it's not 100% marui compatible
Despite its performance not close to the TM MWS, I honestly think this is a good platform as an entry to the MWS ecosystem for a cheaper price.

For now I'm using it stock to see what will break. So far no major issues apart from a hammer lock emptying the magazine gas.

Well I've been a user of mws since day 1 and I have lots of different setups. It's the exact same feeling as if you use a tm. Unfortunately lol
