    I’ve recently got this RIF, I used to have the TM MWS but I had to sell it last year, but for the £300 cheaper compared to the TM one I’d say it’s a lot better value, I’m very impressed with the DE, honestly if you got this RIF and spent the extra £300 on upgrades it’s probably going to be 10x better than the stock TM

    I have the Cyma version and a friends had this. Though there’s nothing wrong with the double eagle it just doesn’t feel as good in the hand and recoil not as strong(if you care about that). The Cyma is better ootb and can be made even better with only a few additions. More so needed for the double eagle. Plus the gap in the upper ejection port is just tacky. Plus the addition of the adjustable trigger in the Cyma is nice. There’s also a lot of folk saying the double eagle mag kind sucks so I’d just go ahead and get gunsmodify like I did for my Cyma. If you want something just like an mws go with De. If you want something that can take mws parts and not have to upgrade as much and strong recoil, go with Cyma.

    • @killinggamer7828
      @killinggamer7828 10 месяцев назад

      I've heard that the cyma one uses proprietary T8 internals and because that limits aftermarket significantly it's putting me off, now im not sure which to pick 🙃

      @@killinggamer7828 I know a couple guys who have switched the trigger box with other third party and kept the t8 bolt and things work fine. Idk if anyone switched the bolt with the t8 box though. But so far for mine I like the box and don’t plan on switching it and threw in a mws ratech npas and am so happy with it. The bolt is steel, aluminum buffer, already solid double oring hop up with a nice sp systems concave hop rubber (still switched for a Mr hop). Honestly the Cyma just feels solid. Every one so used to hearing t8 usual proprietary parts but they haven’t really looked at the specific gun yet. So far it seems like they really made it very mws compatible from what I’ve tried or others have tried. Unless people actually have the gun, it’s all just hearsay for them

      @MiddleAgeGameruk  27 дней назад +1

      Hi there, if you're referring to the Gen 3 in the name, then that is referring to the reciver design of the real steel. The Gen 2 recivers were forged, and the Gen 3 are milled on the real steel rifles. There is a design aesthetic difference to the handguard as well that's pared with the complete rifles. Hope that helps.

    What does the forward assist do?

    • @MiddleAgeGameruk
      @MiddleAgeGameruk  10 месяцев назад

      Hi there, the forward assidt actually works just like the Tokyo Marui MWS.

    • @KeterMalkuth
      @KeterMalkuth 10 месяцев назад

      The forward assist functions to force the bolt carrier into battery if it doesn't go fully forward on its own. In a real AR this is controversial, at best. Some people believe the ability is absolute essential in the event your gun won't go into battery and you don't have time to fix the malfunction properly. Others believe that forcing the bolt carrier forward is only liable to induce further, harder to remediate issues, compared to just inspecting the chamber and fixing the issue properly.
      I'm sure you can tell based on my tone what side of the aisle I fall on. I'm not a huge fan of the forward assist. That said, it doesn't really cost you anything to have one and on an airsoft replica it's main function is realism, so who cares?

    its not actually 1:1 with mws, for example the hopup unit is thicker than mws, u will not be able to fit a mws hopup in this or the other way round... the outerbarrel is also smaller than mws.. so u wont be able to switch, lastly is the buffer.... u cant fit a angrygun or any other aftermarket buffer in there...

    • @KeterMalkuth
      @KeterMalkuth 10 месяцев назад +2

      That's very surprising to me. The way I've been hearing it told is that this is 100% MWS spec. The outer barrel doesn't matter as much I don't think, the whole point is to copy a very specific rifle after all. The hopup and buffer are major issues though. Admittedly I find it difficult to believe the buffer doesn't fit. It should be real milspec sized buffer tube theoretically, right? So any real AR buffer or GBB buffer ought work?
