- Welcome to my exciting birthday art haul video! I treated myself to two beautiful watercolor palettes from A. Gallo of Assisi, Italy, and a couple of other items too. I'll unbox them and then we'll swatch them together for the first time, so get cosy, settle down and relax with your favourite drink and a snack, and enjoy 50 minutes of art haul goodness. Hi everyone! I meant to say that you can buy A. Gallo watercolours from Jackson's now too! They started stocking them very recently - there's a Jackson's link in the description underneath the video. I also realised that I totally said that little rhyme wrong at the end, as it should be "blue and green..." not "green and blue..." (let's blame tiredness). 😂 Natasha xxx

Leave it to Italian makers to have some of the most beautiful packaging and containers. Designers from Italy 🇮🇹 are always included in the world’s top and most iconic designers, so it doesn’t surprise me that you’re getting such beautifully wrapped and contained watercolors from A. Gallo, that we artists, the “lovers of beauty” that we are, can just fawn over. Thanks for sharing, Natasha!
p.s. and we can’t forget the great history of art from Italy…some of the world’s greatest art can be seen there and in world-class museums all over the world.
The presentation and quality are both outstanding, which as you say, doesn't come as a surprise given that they are an Italian company. :)

Natasha, to be truthful, I could watch a video of you making breakfast and be enthralled so pretty much anything you put out on here I will devour! This is great to hear A.Gallo paints described in detail. I have most of these same colors so it was very enjoyable to hear your reactions. I'm going to rewatch this video, it is that good!! My favorite Greens narrowed down to 4: Sap, Olive Gr. Deep, Deep Sea Green, Forest Green. My Blues: Lapis, Payne's Gray, Ultramarine Blue, Aquamarine Blue. I'd seen the blue palette a little while back and thought it was lovely but didn't allow myself to buy it back then. Then I saw the green palette and fell in love - my birthday was the perfect excuse to get both! :D

Don't apologize for buying watercolors. I am not an artist (I just dabble) but I think it is a healthy and way to live. I've already amassed five A Gallo palettes including both the green and blue and started to pass on the lesser quality palettes to ease my conscience. Keep doing what you love!
I've been doing this too with some of my paints - it's a good way to live!
Green and Blue should always be seen! especially when they are this stunningly beautiful. So happy to see this video. I love the A Gallo Paints they are so sublime in vividness and how they are to paint with. From the greens I loved Fig Green,Deep Sea Green,and from the blues I loved Ziconian Blue,Transparent Curreulean,Midnight Blue. Unboxing palettes from A Gallo is like opening up a treasure chest, thet way the package their paints is so special and makes it a joy to unbox. I would wbe wonderful to see a painting process with both of these palettes. It's so lovely to haer how much you love the colours and why you chose tem and how they will feature in your work,and pebble swatching is soo the way to go!! it really does show of the paints so well and it's just lovely to see you painting them. I did invest in one of their 48 colour palettes recently and I love working with it,they are also making metalic colours too now which I love. These paints are an investment cost wise, but they are so worth it they really are. I think it's great that you are investing in more amazing paints like this,thy can only enhance your amazing artwork and add a further richness to it as well. It's fantastic that Jackson's now also sell these stunning paints too,though I must admitt I do love buying them direct from the company itself. The painting you showed us too looked magical,I loved the arch shape of the piece and I love how the smoke from the chimney of the little house leds the eye up towards the moon. As for those pesky flies,it made me think of a lyric/line from an old song that goes something like "Shoo fly don't bother me,shoo fly don't bother me" it's an old nusery rhyme I think. (matt)

They are all so pretty. Especially when they’re all together. I just ordered the natural pallet. I noticed it shipped today. Then I’m going to add the signature pallet. I think it’s nice to order in color sets too. So many greens and blues to choose from. They should make color sets part of their menu. My favorite green was olive green deep and forest green and my fav blues were midnight and zirconium.

I completely agreed with your top three greens and I'm really intrigued by the zirconium blue. To me it looks a lot like what I would consider a traditional cerulean blue. I was so happy to see this since I just ordered A. Gallo's Signature 1 collection so I'll have two of the greens and three of the blues. Happily one of my favorite of your blues that I'll have is Aquamarine. In the greens, I love the deep sea green and the forest, but I'll get the olive green deep which I also like. Thanks so much.
