I had a classmate that was like that. That’s part of the reason I was intrigued by him. He wasn’t afraid to state his opinion: and he thought cell phones were for idiots lol.
I wonder if Lorelai regretted not letting Rory get a chance to lose her virginity to Jess when she later wound up sleeping with Dean while he was married
He didnt want to go and Rory knows that he was in a mad mood and wasnt having a bad day. Ik in relationships you have to give up somthing you like and do stuff you dont like.
A bit rude but i honestly think communication in any way is better than bottling it up. I used to bottle up any issues I had and it never worked out. I find that when i’m very upset it’s best to be honest apologize and make up for it but only if it is just a very bad situation otherwise just be nicer about it. Hard to handle it perfectly every single time
I just don’t get why Lorelei is so opposed to Rory having sex, it’s human nature. I get that she wants her to be in love when she has sex for the first time and obviously teen pregnancy, but as long as they’re careful I don’t see why it’s a issue.
Personally i don't even get why people are so obsessed with the idea that you have to be "in love" with the person you lose your virginity to.. I wasn't and it didn't make a difference. You don't want them to make the experience unpleasant or traumatic of course. But it's just something that happens and then you move on with life.. it wasn't some magical experience and it never needed to be
@@yespls6260 That's why you don't know the difference, my first tome was with my first love and it was special for me , I can't even imagine having your first time with someone ,you don't really care for.Thinking about it now ,I have a smile on my face,FOND MEMORIES ,ONE MOMENT IN TIME.
I mean, he obviously was flawed. He had a rough past and was terrified of being vulnerable. But if you pay attention, he knew he was trouble but tried so hard not to for Rory. I don't think Jess would've showed up at all for anyone else. He knew he wasn't the "meeting your family" type, but he agreed bc it was important to her. He tried so hard for her. That's what makes Jess the right one.
@Mr Jaeger nah if you rewatch that episode you can tell he wasn’t actually mad at her for not having sex with him he had a terrible day and wasn’t thinking straight and tried to find a way to get his mind off it plus teen jess SUCKED at communicating. he was going to apologize to her and even said she didn’t do anything wrong but then sean started the fight.
Season 3 aired from 2002-2003, so cell phones weren't as common back then as they are today. I actually think Rory uses a pager instead of a cell phone for the first few seasons. But, also, a big trait of Jess is how asocial he is. He doesn't have friends in Stars Hollow, he doesn't have regular contact with his mom. He didn't need a cell phone because he didn't have anyone to call. He's also recently bought a car that he should still be paying off, paying insurance for and paying for gas and Luke probably wouldn't pay for a cell phone for him.
He always was there to put Rory in her place if she wasn’t acting like herself but he clearly loves her yes he made mistakes but he’s gone through so much he grew up and changed
@@gee2541 in this scene yes, in general no, he was wrong to leave without saying goodbye etc but he went through a lot and pushed people away because he didn’t think they could actually care about him, he was the one who got Rory to go back to Yale when she dropped out, he gave her an idea for the book to write when her life started to fall apart and overall knew her better than most people he wanted the best for her he was just scared but he always made his way back to her no matter what that’s why I like him :) I personally think he was misunderstood

@@gee2541 oh yeah if you haven’t seen the show I understand that’s ok if that’s what you think. He’s done a lot for her in other episodes he just was a troubled teenager but I personally love him
Agree, I never saw the hype with him. Sure he grew up later but didn’t like him as a teen. As I’m rewatching the show, I honestly think him and rory are great as friends only.
just imagine a 17 years old boy not having a phone cause he doesn't "believe" in them nowadays

Meanwhile many people are addicted to them
have you not seen timothee in ladybird
Times were simpler then and almost better :(
Thats mad attractive
I love Jess so much
This reminds me of my mom. Until she realized that I will never do “stuff” without talking to her about it. Especially for birth control.
I wonder if Lorelai regretted not letting Rory get a chance to lose her virginity to Jess when she later wound up sleeping with Dean while he was married
Very interesting thought
you gotta admit he was a jerk in this scene. "i was in traffic i hate going to a function i didn't wanna go to in the first place..." ouch.
and just say it wasn't a fight, man! you're giving her nothing here. 😤
Unnecessarily rude

He could have worded it a bit better talking about his eye but the way she keeps pressing him about it in the next scene is just stupid
Dean was so polite and nicely dressed yet he got such a hard time
Yeah, but richard gave him a hard time.
Yeah but the only one who have him a hard time was Richard

Yeah but it’s understandable why she opposed to it given her past experiences.
Probably just because of her experiences having Rory as a teenager

Lmao
lol
In my perspective it’s: all this time wasted and Rory never even hit
She has amazing self control cause that could not be me
He hit in reality.
Where was Richard?
Shay Duncan he was in a business trip
Out of town
Lots of Dean Stans really quiet on this vid... is it maybe because Jess isn't so perfect?

she didn’t have to ask home right in the middle of her grandma. 😒
