    You're a very good teacher, thank you for sharing this. I just tried this, as I've done Cossacks like this for years, but never thought to try adding them into a fluid motion like that. Very cool. Definitely works the hips well though. Just curious, should you have a prerequisite of strength in a Ma Bu before trying this, like a 5 min hold or some such, or just build the motion through practising like this, since for my money this felt more like a hip mobility workout than anything else?

      The secret to this exercise is to be able to let go of your tensions and just drop down into your hips. When you let go, the flow will guide you. It is more about tendons power than muscels. Just make sure you practice first the static stretch, in order to prepare and open your body for the motion to come.

      @@5DragonOnline Thank you for the reply. This makes perfect sense. I can see now how too much thinking causes stiffness and so tension and the difficulty in performing this. I was very stiff in my hamstrings for the few days after I practiced this, likely because I was tensing to protect myself. I shall continue to work on this. A perfect movement to teach the flow of the mind and body together, I now see. All the best.

    Is this stretch motion for avoid enemy attack then approach fight back use? Thanks
