Just got a shipping notification for mine yesterday, happy birthday to me. I believe that blade finish was called acid washed, that's what I asked for. Thinking this one will be a nice pair with the Skiff to clang around with the keys in my pocket.
I’m a simple Latvian, I see my country mentioned, I press like. And those chocolates are actually from Latvia.

Hey! Nicolas from Robjohnsons (After my Great Grandfather Robert and his father John, they were both Blacksmiths). The Box is made from White Oak. From now on all the knives will be V2. Still no reverse flick, for that I would need to completely change everything and I'm not sure if that could be called Cypress or entirely new model. Thank you for the review, hope you will enjoy the knife and Latvian candy.
We both destroyed the chocolate in a couple days. Delicious, and obviously, the knife is stunning 🙌

These small batch high end cnc produced knives are the sweet spot, as good as any custom with the precision of production knives. If that exact model had a taller blade with hole access to reverse flick I'd definitely own one. He has the cedar model that can be reverse flicked and looks good but personally need a lower tipped drop point.
Hey! Thanks for the kind words. As I mentioned before with taller blade and reverse flick option it probably would be new model. I do want to mention that Cedar is lower tipped drop point than Cypress. And the main opening method for the Cedar is reverse flick, that's why I modeled the opening hole in blade and thumb space in the handle so big for that model.

@@mrdoughface I have some Cypress wood available, I will make some knife boxes from that in the future, only thing with the Cypress wood- it's super strong wood aroma/scent, not sure if everyone likes that.
