Garcia said there's no rematch... it was in a tunnel after the fight but yeah, we seen Haney at this point lose twice... got outboxed by a 130lb'er and smacked around by a bigger guy.
He's kinda stuck in that 140 division with no one wanting to fight him. He's an awkward fighter and boring without belts.
Ryan was nearly 4 lbs heavier so it's a pretty much meaningless fight , embarrassing it was allowed to happen and I like garcia very much

He actually did go on and win at least 4 of the first 6 rounds but ultimately that gave him too much confidence and he started thinking he was gonna walk Ryan down and that 7th rd is where he couldn’t recover. The 11rd knockdown broke Devin’s jaw and he was out on his feet the rest of the fight. Dad should have threw in the towel that kind of beating is not good especially for a fighter who hasn’t lost before

As for Garcia, it is true he won but this win not only didn't make him a champion, he is less liked and less respected because 3lbs of his own body beat him before he ever beat Devin. Garcia tossed aside any value the belt may have had to him, and he did it with all the disrespect he has decided to show everyone he has. No respect for the sport, for the fans, for those who TRULY deal with mental illness, for his team who showed up to help him lose that weight while Ryan didn't, no, Garcia has earned nothing from this except more bragging, more mouthiness in the coming weeks and little else.
