  • Hello everyone. Welcome to another video, in which we will be making these cute little S links for your jewellery making. These little guys are perfect for a beginner, but will look amazing in your bracelets, necklaces and even earrings.
I'll walk you through the process, step by step, and describe the equipment you'll need. I really hope you enjoy this beginners tutorial, and I'd love to hear what you make with your little links.
    Equipment you will need:
1mm (18g) copper wire, dead soft
0.6mm (22g) copper wire, dead soft
3mm beads (or any bead you prefer)
    Flush Cutters
    Chain nose pliers
Round nose or bail making pliers
    Ruler
Bench block and chasing hammer (optional)
    Have fun!
    Sam x

I absolutely love this. Saying that, I have watched so many of your tutorials, and I love them all. You have a natural, laid-back way of teaching. May I ask, where do you get your beads from? Like you, I live in the North West, UK.

I would use jump rings to connect S links to bead links as it would be easier. I love your videos. Thanks so much for all the hard work you do!❤

Quite attractive and versatile components. Do you ever use a patina solution to finish them off, seems like you like to leave them as is. Thanks for the tut!

I love the colour of raw copper, so I do tend to leave most of my pieces raw, and then either treat with renaissance wax, or just clean before I wear 🥰

I don't understand what you mean by the spiral being 'offset'.

    • @samanthalatimer1
      @samanthalatimer1  3 месяца назад +1

I just mean if one side of the spiral is slightly larger than the other, meaning that one spiral sits a little “offset” - not equal ☺️
