I didn’t have to wait long for this tutorial that I was looking for to, thank you 🙏🏼. I will be starting this asap, I absolutely love this bracelet and going to make Christmas gifts for all the women and girls in my family. I look forward to your next project. ♥️
You make everything look so easy! You have such a lovely way of explaining all the details. Thank you so much for that. I have been going threw a rough patch with my health and I have really enjoyed listening an watching you create. You have brought joy into my days and I have tried many of your creations. Thank you again for your wonderful videos, love your chatting and making me feel like I was sitting right there beside you learning.....Looking forward to any of your new videos
Hi Lynn. I’m so sorry you’re going through a bad patch at the moment. It’s hard, isn’t it? I find when things get tough for me, I make beautiful things, listen to and watch my favourite RUclipsrs, and remember there is definitely joy to be had in this world. I’m so happy you feel comfortable listening to me rambling along. It’s like having a coffee with a friend, isn’t it 🥰 I send you best wishes and hope you’re ok
@@samanthalatimer1 Everything has finally turned around and all is going well. My little fur baby has pulled threw her health issues and I am healing really well. Thank you for your kind reply. I have had two months of having to sit inside, I spent that watching your videos and learning so many new things. I have made a nice collection of copper jewelry, thank you again and love your accent.
Yes, How BEAUTIFUL. Very Good Job! Thank You! Very Nice to spend some time on weekend watching tutorials. What a learning experience. It's Enjoyable. I Thank You!
So cute! I'm making a choker instead of a bracelet. I'm using 6mm beads so I adjusted the size of the loops a bit (using the 4th mandril of the pliers). It's rather slow going but sure looks pretty. Thank you for this unique link technique!
They're red dyed quartz beads. I got them from Michaels. And I'm using silver wire. (well, not sterling, but silver colored copper wire). I think it'll turn out really nice! I just started last night and I'm a slow worker, so I'll be at it for a while. And I had to buy a new hammer, too because I can't find my old one so last night I was banging on the block with a piece of fossilized wood! It did the job, but....I don't want to damage the wood.
@@samanthalatimer1I did it! Except guess what? It's a bracelet and not a choker. heehee! I absolutely LOVE it. What a beautiful design. It's elegant but simple. My hubby love it too. The hardest part for me was figuring out where to bend the straight tails of the pins once they come off the mandril. At first I wasn't placing the pliers in the right place and the straight parts were wonky. I watched you do it several times and finally got the hang of it. Thank you again for your careful instruction. I am super pleased with my new bracelet!
@@roxannecoyne2744 this makes me SOOOO happy! 😃 You should be super proud of yourself and wear it with pride 🥰 I’m so so happy you enjoyed the video and it was useful for you ❤️
Beautiful! I made a traditional wire wrap bracelet but didn’t like the stiffness. This bracelet gives the wire wrap look but has movement. Gonna make one today! Thanks.
Hi Libby. Thank you so much! It’s such a lovely fluid bracelet which is super comfortable too. I hope you enjoy making yours. Let me know how you get along ☺️
BEAUTIFUL❣ I'm new to Jewelry making, especially working with wire ...but I think that I can make this bracelet. Your tutorial is clear and easy to understand. Thank You so much for sharing. 🌹
I love this bracelet! Yr tutorial is wonderful! U explained it perfectly. I cant wait to make a few. Just lovely!! Thanks for sharing yr talent with us..
I'm biting at the bit to try this! Thank you for another great tutorial! You are very good at teaching. Could you explain a bit about how to patina copper in a future tutorial? 😍
SOOOOOOOOO PRETTY!! THANK YOU!! As an aside, I have noticed that you use a pair Tronex chain nose pliers, how do they stack up against the regular like "amazon" chain nose pliers? I L♡VE my Tronex heavy-duty cutters (5613) & flat nose pliers, and I'm possibly looking to change my chain nose pliers to Tronex as well. [I'm using Lindström at the moment....] Again ~ Aloha & Mahalo Nui Loa! 💜🤙🏻💜
Thank you so much! ☺️ And I just LOVE my Tronex chain (needle) nose pliers and I use them ALL THE TIME lol 😂 I have soooo many pliers but my Tronex are my go-to. They’re extremely sturdy and I’ve used them almost daily for about 6 years now and they’re still going strong. They’re obviously more pricey than generic ones, but worth every penny ☺️
Hi Samantha ☺️ Ooh I can’t remember exactly where I got these particular ones, but I get my beads from various online shops in the UK. Or Amazon, or Etsy, depending. The more affordable strings of beads can be bought from Amazon though, so start there 😍
I love your tutorials. I’m a somewhat beginner and wire wrapped jewelry is pretty but it’s hit or miss at looking smooth. Any tips on how to improve. Thank you!!
Thank you! ☺️ I think it’s just about practice, to be honest. Keep your hands and shoulders relaxed and when you’re bending and wrapping the wires, keep everything relaxed and gentle. As a beginner, we can be tense I think, and certainly for me, that made it so the work wasn’t as smooth as I could have been. Also, get some aluminium wire to practice with… you can practice the basic principles more cheaply with aluminium wire and as you progress, move onto copper etc. Keep your wrist loose and slow when you’re wrapping too, which should help 😍 Have fun 🤩
What size beads are you using for these beautiful bracelets ie 4mm, 6mm, 8mm?...just trying to buy beads from Amazon and there's so many sizes. Thank you ps love your tutorials
Love your designes! I love working with bare copper but have a problem with tarnishing. I have a few pieces in a couple local shops and I have to visit them every so often to polish the tarnish off. How do you keep your pieces from tarnishing?
Treat them with Renaissance Wax! Rub the wax over the piece and buff off with a soft cloth. Repeat a couple of times and that should help with the tarnish 🥰
One more question… when you patina with liver of sulphur, do you patina AFTER the bracelet is complete or do you patina all the wire before you put the piece together. If you do it after the piece is complete, does it affect the beads at all?
@@susanmanicone4914 that’s an excellent question. If you’re using beads that you feel *may* be a little porous (like jasper etc) then patina your wire first. Beads such as amethyst, jade, and the harder materials are usually fine. I always throw a bead into the solution first to check how it reacts to the sulphur. Hope that helps ☺️
