when i first saw the thumbnail i thought "yea but its not scraping good" well turns out thats the whole point cuz of the pavers. perfect tool for the job. i wish i could run one but my accounts require me to run a sander.
Adam Behrends It all depends on the application. The sno-power is a phenomenal option but you give up a portion of the truck beds functionality with it mounting in the bed of the truck. For some people that creates no issue at all for others it creates an enormous issue.
Only thing I don't like is it doesn't scrape down to the pavement, & packs it down as it scrapes it. Front plow will get down to the pavement. Then extra salt is needed to melt it down
I own a pull plow, it's an 8' Daniels. Used it on a second gen Dodge with an 8'2" Boss V with Boss wings (10' total width). It served me well but I haven't used the pull plow since 2014, once I went with 6 series John Deere tractors and Normand inverted Hybrid blowers I no longer have a use for the pull plow. Tractor and inverted blower would make very quick work of that job. And my blowers have Tivar cutting edges.
I have an Ebling they are also SWEET! If you havent already figured it out, lift before you stop... You'll get stuck in your pile much less. Keep up the good work man!!
Hi.I have same plow like that one and is not to bad the only good thing if you backing snow like he just did polling leave lots snow behind and pressure is not good enough expensive for that.thanks
$7k for an Ebling... Yeah, they are awesome! Just get some big mirrors (I get mine for around $200 on Amazon) and might wanna put some Auxiliary reverse lights on.
Doesn't look to me like its getting it clean though. Is that just a side effect of the softer cutting edge? A few areas you showed look alright but that would be my only gripe. We use a skid for all of ours though so I am used to bare concrete when we are done. Might just be down pressure now that I think about it.
That’s impressive to change it to rubber blade. Almost wonder if you need a short box for that development. We run poly cutting edges as we have parking ramps and a project with pavers. Would like to have my guy look at that some time.
Pretty awesome. I still have questions lol . How does it do when the snow is really deep? Is your front plow just dead weight now? Seems like it doesn't get used much. Do they hold up well? Looks like a lot of stress on those wing sections.
Looks like they would work great, but you can't put one on when you got a hooper full of salt in the back. Where I live, every lot has to be salted, so I don't see them catching on around here
Yeah, that would double work time, and consume my other trucks making them one sided, someplaces these make more sense than others, I made double salting compared to plowing last month , so it would seem, if anybody has any zero tolerance sites and they dont want to put a hopper on at three in the am, or tie up another truck with just a plow, they wont be getting one unless they change something so you can get a hopper in the truck at the same time
It is a game changer however it does has its limitations... one example is inclined driveways packed into a narrow street on a curve on garbage day... good luck with it... I bought one brand new 2 yrs ago used it 6 times... I love it for what its good for. But what it is good for doesn't make up for the limitations... its not easy to get on and off so if its on your using it and with the amount of extra real estate it takes up it slows you down with those limitations so much so that it requires another truck to take the accounts its not good for. I definitely think it has its place but not when you have 97 driveways with one truck in a snow storm ...anyone who knows plowing knows thats when things tend to go wrong ...with all that said... it is a game changer with a learning curve and route alterations.
in our area our average event is 3" so on all those events anyone with a pull plow with be making 2-3 times more then anyone with a run of the mill front plow. thanks for taking the time to consume my content and going the extra step and leaving a comment #pullinprofits
I’ve always wondered about those pull plows. Can you lease them or do you have to buy them? How likely are you to break a shear pin? Looks like it will save you passes but you still will have to flip around to finish pushing off when you need to stack it. Also since you are not angling away from the driveways when going down the road you were leaving trails at the approaches where you have already cleared.
How long does it take to feel comfortable running the plow? You mention the finesse of pulling the snow in large batches... is that something an experienced operator could pick up quickly?
Great work again man. Those pull poles are impressive but I’m just wondering how well they’ll hold up over the course of a tough snow season. They sure have lots of moving parts and seem more flimsy than front plows. What’s your take on durability?
Not many more moving parts then your traditional front plow. It’s super simple not a bunch of bells and whistles. As far as durability I can’t say for sure as this is our first year using this particular plow, but I’ll definitely let you know how it goes at the end of this year
I run a couple.16' Ebling Backblade here in Michigan and they are time savers and money makers.... we had a couple weeks ago a pretty big event that was about 12 inches 6" in the first and 6" in the second and neither one of my trucks git stuck pulling 16'....you have to know what you're doing first off....you need to be aware of what your plowing If you ever wanna check out my blades i can try and take some videos
we put bright led lights facing backwards on a back rack as you can see so plowing at night isn't really a issue, and yes bigger snow events you cant do long runs. but where we are you only get a 12+ inch snow every few years our average event is 3"
It isn't that the truck can't pull the snow. The problem is that you build up so much snow in the blade that it piles up under the truck and lifts the rear end off the ground
Love IT!
That's a game and time saver!
Awesome to see push in reverse I can't find another video of that which isn't talked about much either or probably asked when these are purchased
Great video thanks!
Could get a plastic plow
Great now I can install a pull plow on my Honda 🙂
nice

If you like that back blade check out the sno-power back blade it has 180 deg wings. Basically makes it a box blade.
Sno power way better
Adam Behrends It all depends on the application. The sno-power is a phenomenal option but you give up a portion of the truck beds functionality with it mounting in the bed of the truck. For some people that creates no issue at all for others it creates an enormous issue.
Needs to be A Tad Taller with Slight Curve like Normal Plow for those long passes .
Greetings from Fargo!
Great job with the footage, music and your narration with examples! God bless you and the rest of the team...
Another well made video Garrett.. Keep them coming....
Great video! Keep up the good work!
Thank you will do!
Awesome Video Man ! Your an Inspiration !
Great video! Love seeing all the different options for snow removal
thanks for watching

Looking good. Great video. Keep up the good work and keep a deaf ear to those negative Nancys.
Thanks for the support! And will do!(-;
Hi.I have same plow like that one and is not to bad the only good thing if you backing snow like he just did polling leave lots snow behind and pressure is not good enough expensive for that.thanks
Looks good! Seems to me like the pull plow is worth the investment! 👌🏼

You guys should try general grabber tire for snow
why the hell do you even own a straight front plow????
It came on one of the trucks we bought a while back. Would never buy one out right
That’s impressive to change it to rubber blade. Almost wonder if you need a short box for that development. We run poly cutting edges as we have parking ramps and a project with pavers. Would like to have my guy look at that some time.
Call me anytime I’d love to show it to you in person!
It was definitely fun going in there and dumping load after load when they were excavating that whole area
Pretty awesome. I still have questions lol . How does it do when the snow is really deep? Is your front plow just dead weight now? Seems like it doesn't get used much. Do they hold up well? Looks like a lot of stress on those wing sections.
I’ve heard they are crap . Constantly breaking shear pins etc
That is only on boss. I have never once broke a pin and we now have 3 of them
Damn that’s tight. My crew cab would not fit in there
Looks like they would work great, but you can't put one on when you got a hooper full of salt in the back. Where I live, every lot has to be salted, so I don't see them catching on around here
Seems like they would work great, but how are you suppose to spread salt?
Either drop the plow or with a different vehicle
Yeah, that would double work time, and consume my other trucks making them one sided, someplaces these make more sense than others, I made double salting compared to plowing last month , so it would seem, if anybody has any zero tolerance sites and they dont want to put a hopper on at three in the am, or tie up another truck with just a plow, they wont be getting one unless they change something so you can get a hopper in the truck at the same time
How about putting a piece of pipe on the cutting edge so it won't dig in?
I should ask tho, how do u do your pricing with the pull plow, if u dont mind?
Do you sub out the lawn care
No. We are starting a maintenance division this spring
Show off, awesome
I don't like back plowing.
Do you guys salt/deice as well?
We do on a few of our accounts but not many
I noticed this seems a bit more common in MN. So do the deice/salt companies mainly just deice and salt?
Like I wouldn't be able to put a pull plow on my truck because I have the salter in the bed

Maybe for a couple inches of light powder wet snow does not scrape well enough to satisfy my liking or customers
in our area our average event is 3" so on all those events anyone with a pull plow with be making 2-3 times more then anyone with a run of the mill front plow. thanks for taking the time to consume my content and going the extra step and leaving a comment #pullinprofits
@@GarrettWilliams2017 that's awesome here in northern nh our snow I'd very heavy deep drifted and compacted wish I could get away using one myself

yes sir after just a couple events Jamison seems to have it down pretty well!
Great work again man. Those pull poles are impressive but I’m just wondering how well they’ll hold up over the course of a tough snow season. They sure have lots of moving parts and seem more flimsy than front plows. What’s your take on durability?

its a condo. there still going to ***** there driveways aren't scraped to the surface
I gather they don't want ice melt of any kind? If so you would have to bring in another truck to salt. It does do a nice job.
That is true! Neither of these customers ever request salt
Not worth the money.
Not worth the money if you don’t have the money
How about the major point that drivers are always lolking behind.. not where they are going.
Haven’t hit anything yet! Just gotta be paying attention not daydreaming
Only a chevy can handle that Haha
You nailed it Erick! Chevy all day!! :)
All the chevys I ve owned beat the ford's 2 to 1 and dodges lasted but maintaining them was 2 times as much 30 years experience running 3 trucks
Now emagine if you had that thing hooked up to a Ram, then you could move more snow even faster
I run a couple.16' Ebling Backblade here in Michigan and they are time savers and money makers.... we had a couple weeks ago a pretty big event that was about 12 inches 6" in the first and 6" in the second and neither one of my trucks git stuck pulling 16'....you have to know what you're doing first off....you need to be aware of what your plowing

Not a lot of room to navigate. That area has got to be much harder to plow at night and or 12 inches of wet snow !
we put bright led lights facing backwards on a back rack as you can see so plowing at night isn't really a issue, and yes bigger snow events you cant do long runs. but where we are you only get a 12+ inch snow every few years our average event is 3"
That’s one account I’d say No Thanks ! Besides my truck is a crew cab . More troubles than its worth !
Almost no weight on the plow
Jon Eidt they have down pressure. We have multiple of these plows. You can literally lift the rear tires off the ground.
u need to get a real plow truck what if u had 10 inches?that truck sucks
Thanks for taking the time to consume my content and going the extra step to leave a comment
It isn't that the truck can't pull the snow. The problem is that you build up so much snow in the blade that it piles up under the truck and lifts the rear end off the ground
i think its stupid XD
Thanks for watching!
That pull plow wouldn’t work all that good where we get over 2 ft snow storms in Michigan
@ Bob Steve, Short Iron Fabrication is based right here in Michigan. As are Ebling and Sno-Power
