I finished all my reading, including a looong bio of Charlotte Bronte. I just did it on my own, but next time I will join in on Twitter! I wasn't trying for a job- I would rather study and stay in school, ha. TYSM for coming up with O.W.L.s. It was so much fun!
I cannot put into words how much I loved the OWLs. I read SO MUCH, found my new favorite book ever, and met a bunch of new friends on Twitter. The community was so welcoming and helpful and lovely. I hope you know how genuinely wonderful the readathon was and how much it was enjoyed by everyone. I can see how much work you put into it and I hope it makes it worthwhile knowing how much we all loved it.

We clearly didn't advance as much as science fiction writers thought we would. They had such faith in us. Bookshelf rearranging is so satisfying to me. Mostly because I can rearrange until the cows come home and my shelves *still* never look beautiful. Ahahahahaha I don't know what's better, your reaction to Logan singing or Zeus's. 17:15 Did you just call me a dumbbell? (My entire comment is just time stamps. Time stamps all around) Doing 10 out of 12 is MASSIVE! You kicked this readathon's booty, and you should be so proud of yourself. You should be 80 times more proud at how amazing this went, everyone had fun and all the Twitter activity was crazy. I was having a really rough month so I didn't participate in the fun as much on Twitter, but participating is always fun for me. I adore you so. :-)

I had such a blast during the OWL’s, and completed 10 exams! I can’t believe it’s over, but I do want to thank you for creating such a fun and social ReadAThon! I’m sorry you went through all of that with your computer, especially during the OWL’S, I can’t imagine how stressful that must’ve been for you! But, I still feel like you’ve accomplished so much with this ReadAThon, I mean look how many pages we all read together! I am extremely excited for the NEWT’s, and anything else that may happen in between!

I love these! I strive to read a lot and see you vlog and make videos of good books help. The one day when you said it was 5:00, it's 5:00 here too! And you said you were PMSing, SAME. I am so crampy though today and that was me yesterday. I am getting irritated by the little things and I'm gonna try and not let it get to me, but I know how that is.... AND I'm also relaxing with a bath....yeah tmi, but so many similarities!
G, you are so amazing! This was probably the best readathon experience of my life thanks to all of your hard work. I managed all 12 of my OWLs but it took until nearly midnight on the 30th to get them done. I'm actually glad that you didn't force yourself to read Daytripper this week as I ended up reading it (for Care of Magical Creatures) and it is simply too good not to be savored. So I hope you can get to it when you have a bit more time and less pressure and that you end up loving it as much as I did. Cheers and thanks again for such a great reading month!

I am aiming to be either an Alchemist or an Astronomy professor, so I'm glad I have the career options open.
I have the same problem with my shelving at the moment and I feel you about game of thrones! I had to keep pacing around the room to keep my anxiety from taking over 🤣 so that that’s all it takes sometime but what are you gonna do? lol I read all 12 of my books and had a great time! I finished 10 OWLs as well! Stayed up til 2:30am the last night to finish my last one haha. Only missing muggle studies and history of magic. Thank you so much for organising it all! I'm no good at Twitter, but I've enjoyed the discord group. And I got a Facebook ad for that same journal about a week ago and I've been lusting after it ever since!

Yep, gray hair came with my thyroid issues too. It’s good to know I am not the only one. You and Logan convinced me to read Mistborn. I am loving it so far.

First gray hair at 25 as well :D only two more in the last 2 years but who knows where I'll end up! :) I managed to finish 12 books to get all the 12 OWL's which is amazing!! I'm aiming for a career as a Hogwarts Professor, which gives me a lot of wiggle room to see which NEWTS I'll be taking (aside from the mandatory ones) - being able to choose the subjects and having so much freedom is one of the main reasons I picked that career! THANK YOU, for making this experience so magical.
Ahh your readathons are the best, well for me, Having a month to complete the owls works for me, a week to complete multiple books with work kids and life can be a struggle, so thank you this was great I was able to complete 11 OWLs!

I started my O.W.L.s a week later due to studying and other reasons, so I extend it a couple of days (especially since April was kinda migraine heavy). I only have to finish Defence Against the Dark Arts and have like 40 pages left in the book). I like those bookshelves, but if they are Billy shelves, there are actually elements you can put on top that are actual extensions for Billy bookshelves.
Unfortunately I didn't take part in tge O.W.Ls again this year. I hit a reading slump in March and didn't pull out of it until nearly the end of April I might try to do them in June instead if I have been able to branch out from reading Terry Pratchett because he is the only author whose works are keeping my attention at the moment.
Are they Ikea shelves? You can get another shelf that goes on top if they are. Could you buy a narrower shelf to go somewhere else in the room for books or HP items? I know youre watching $$ right now but its a thought for the future. A narrower shelf might fit by the door too.
I'm late on the OWL train because I just recently found out about it, but I'm so excited to do this! Also, can I ask what you do for work? So cool that you can work at home!

I was surprised that I read for all 12 prompts. Reading and completing 10 books is still super impressive with how much your were doing to host the OWLs. I loved this, I can't wait for the NEWTs in August! Are they going to be the same reading prompts or will they be different?

Hi everyone, i love G's bookshelf , so nicely organised. I finished my OWLs too, I agree with G it was a bit tiring , but it was my decision to finish 12 Owls to encourage myself to read more. And I pushed myself a bit but I made it through all the subjects, even though I went for Curse Breaker or Librarian (i really loved those two so much). In the end i am so happy that i did it. I enjoed so much the experience and everyone is so lovely when you want help or just talk. I just want to Thank G. She did such an amazing job for all of this, She's so awesome! Also Congratulations to everyone !
I flunked my OWLs really badly! I started off brilliantly, reading 3 books in about a week by the 10th or 12th of April, then I didn’t pick up a book until the month was almost over! I got stuck on my Potions book, as I read a sequel I was really looking forward to but it just didn’t grab my attention!
Maybe try reading several books at the same time next time? I've had this problem as well and it helps me to just start or complete something short/normal length and then read a part of the other book after that.
What pens do you use in your bullet journals? I'm thinking of starting one but I'm not sure what the best kind is for smoothness and your pages always look so lovely!
I got my first grey hair at age 12 after a traumatic shock. I needed to start dying my hair at age 17 coz I was way too grey. I am now 28 and can't live without dying my hair otherwise I literally look 70 😂 I feel you guuuuurl! Thanks for the readathon it was sooooo fun! Xx
I did 2 careers; the healer and the MagiZoologist (I couldn’t choose!) But I did 9 OWLS and sense their were some dupes (ex: both required potions) I read 2 book for every subject their were 2 of

Book Roast I managed to do all twelve OWLs and hopefully becoming a Mind Medic. It was so much fun to do this I can’t wait for the next one

They sell bookshelf extensions at ikea for the billy series. Idk if that’s an option or how they work

I got my first grey hair in my mid 20s too, I think because we have darker hair it's more noticeable. That cat notebook is gorgeous by the way!!!!!

Thank you for hosting the OWLs :) I ended up reading 6 books in April but only 3 were OWLs. I completed charms, herbology and arithmancy.
